This hotel was amazing. Small, welcoming, personal and very well thought out. The staff was helpful at every turn, greeting us each day asking what coffee or tea they could make us. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. Dinner was excellent as well and it was so nice being able to eat right there in the hotel. They also made me the best Aperol Spritz I had during our entire 3 weeks in Italy. It was perfect to have sitting on our balcony enjoying the view! Additionally, just down the road is a mini-mart where you can buy bus tickets and other food items to enjoy. There was a nice fridge in the room to store drinks. It was perfect.

Location, family running the hotel, the restaurant, views, breakfast. LOVED our stay! Everyone was so helpful. Enjoyed one of my favorite meals in Italy on the rooftop. So appreciated the parking, and the help getting in and out!

People. Reliable. Beauty. Removed. How the took care of us. We, collectively, all ask the same repetitive When/What/How type questions and everyone seemed genuinely in tune with this give & take. The raisin filled tiny pastries

We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea and a direct view of Positano. The hotel restaurant is highly rated, and the food is amazing. The daily breakfast buffet offers a good variety. Most importantly, the staff, Rosa and Edwardo, were amazing! They met us upon arrival, assisted with bags, coordinated water taxi transportation, and offered wonderful, authentic local recommendations. The staff was kind and caring and made us feel so special! You will not be disappointed staying here!!

We love Priania we have been there several times and it never disappoints. It’s a small town but everything you need is there the bus service to Positano and Amalfi is very handy. We were disappointed that the ferries weren’t operating yet so we didn’t get to Capri but all the more reason to come back again.

There's not a lot to do in Praiano itself but it's a great place to stay for day trips to Positano and Amalfi with frequent buses stopping in the village. It was good to be away from the crowds in the evenings and whilst small the choice and standard of restaurants was good

Buses to and from neighbouring Amalfi and positano are cheap but don't necessarily arrive on time !! Tickets must be purchased in advance at little shops. The locals are very friendly and happy to point you in the right direction and if you need help with the steep stairs take the little local
Bus for one euro that runs exactly in time and to listen to the locals is a joy. Such a community feel and a great feel good boost !!

The Sentieri degli Dei was my favorite.
The Sentieri degli Dei was my favorite. We walked from Praiano to Positano and had lunch in Nochelle. The walk up the to the church and the views were wonderful. The little town on the hillside was clean and bright and wonderful for anyone who does not mind walking up and down many steps. I would recommend that future travellers not spend much time in either Positano or Amalfi. Both were crowded and very touristy.

A great value to stay as "home base".
A great value to stay as "home base". We did day trips to Positano and Amalfi each day via water taxi. The bus would have been much more economical but we wanted to see each town from the water and the taxis provided a mini tour of the coast with each trip. We did want to take the city bus to the beach on a Sunday AM, but after waiting about 20 minutes it passed our stop by b/c it was packed full. We decided to do the 30 minute walk to Il Gavitella beach and discovered some nice small shops and the San Gennaro church.
The town itself has great restaurant options including Il Pirata, Franchino and La Moressa.

Praiano is beautiful and definitely has more of a residential/local vibe as compared to the more touristy towns along the Amalfi Coast. We stayed here, as it is conveniently situated between Positano and Amalfi, and you can take the bus from town to town. The accommodation options in Praiano were also slightly cheaper than some of the other towns along the coast. Although Praiano is beautiful and great for a day trip, I would not likely stay here again, as there is not much nightlife and we found ourselves commuting to Positano and Amalfi quite a lot.
The Hotel is amazing, with a private beach surrounded by huge rocks. Amazing crystal clear water
Room was spacious and comfy, all remodeled.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating.
Breakfast included was amazing, overlooking the water and rocks. Like a movie.
Concierge girl was amazing, forgot her name but she helped us a lot. Unfortunately when we left she was off
I would love to return to this boutique family owned Hotel.
Amazing at night also , there is a boardwalk along the sea that is incredible.
This was our best stay on the Amalfi coast. We got a room with sea views and a little balcony, it was very pleasant to hang out there during the day. The staff is lovely and did all they could to help us with every need. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed it. There are a lot of options on the breakfast buffet and the shuttle to the city center/beach is very convenient. The only regret we have is that we didn’t book the room for more nights!
Exactly as it looks in the pictures. Amazing views and great location. Room was spotless and easy access to buses. You can use the facilities of the hotel next door which is the best on the area and the prices for using the pool etc reflect that. Best advice pay the 1.3 euros to go to Amalfi and the 5 euros for a sunbed. It's the cheapest you will find.
Praiano is great place to stay with nice restaurants and easy buses (but busy) to get everywhere
The location is just perfect in between Positano and Amalfi which where easy to access via boat or buss but much too crowded compared the small Praiano. The food in the Hotel’s restaurant is really good! especially we loved the lemon tortellini with clams. Closest beach is right below the hotel, you just need to walk the stairs down to get there. The parking was just 8€/day so you’re able to leave your car without worrying the costs
La Barbera is an amazing family-run B&B. They have created such a unique and beautiful place in Praiano. The room is beautiful and clean and the view from the balcony (especially at sunset) is truly breathtaking. The breakfast is excellent and freshly made. What stands out among all the others good things we mentioned is all the staffs at La Barbera who are very kind-hearted and genuine. It was the best stay of our trip to Italy.
Loved this hotel! Family-owned and so well-located between Positano and the Almafi Coast. Transportation to and from is easy, only about 10-15 minutes to get to Positano by bus. The bus stop is only 300 meters south of the hotel. Plenty to eat in the surrounding area and beautiful views. The hotel is clean, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the area, and it makes for a wonderful time in Praiano.
Staff fantastic, so patient, helpful, warm and firendly. Breakfast so fresh and tasty. The itself hotel was BEYOND sparkling clean - haven't seen anything like it before. Everything exceeded our expectations. Room with balcony was great. Praiano is hilly in general, but relatively easy to walk and pretty close to a fantastic restaurant - Kasai. Amazing views, brilliant place. Would definitely stay again.
This boutique hotel is the perfect place to stay in Praiano. Its rooms have a beautiful view to the ocean, the staff are wonderful, helpful and extremely welcoming! Breakfast was delicious and generous. It’s 10 minutes away from a beach, you have 3 nearby restaurants and a bus stop right outside the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. We loved staying at Hotel Holiday and would definitely come back!
an absolutely incredible hotel - the beach club was the highlight (must try the frozen watermelon margarita!) loved swimming in the sea
and the salt water pool. the room was spacious and the view from our balcony was stunning. the complimentary shuttle to Praiano was great and really fun - like a golf cart. Just couldn’t fault a thing about the hotel and wish our stay was a week longer!
Everything. Maria was the perfect host.
The room was absolutely breathtaking, we were amazed with the views and how clean everything was. Breakfast was so cute on our terrace.
The view from our balcony was unbelievable and didn’t feel real.
We have toured Italy and staying here and being on the Amalfi Cost was everything we had hoped for and more.
We will defo be back!!!!
The staff! The family that owns the hotel are amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and the views are breathtaking! We received top notch service at Hotel Pellegrino, they helped us with transportation, booking tours, restaurant reservations, and more. The food at the Pellegrino was some of the best food I had during my vacation in Italy.
The location is right on the beach with access to water taxis, the bus, and bars and restaurants for food. The rooms are recently redone and are really nice and clean. Best of all the family that runs the hotel is so sweet and makes breakfast for you every morning.
The staff was amazing and so helpful with anything we needed. The view was perfect. The location was nice, Praiano is a small, quaint, cute town. The bus stop was right outside the hotel so made exploring different towns easy. Breakfast was delicious every morning.
The view from the room and the location and also the hotel itself was very beautiful. It is located in Praiano and better than Positano or Amalfi for accomodation. It has a very good restaurant with a sea and Positano view. You can stay even just for the good view!
Nice hotel, clean room and spacious, friendly staff, plenty of stairs but the great part was the view from our terrace: unspeakable beautiful 😍 Praiano is a good choice and easy to reach Amalfi and Positano.( Bus or water taxi)
Well done Bellavista!!
Fabulous hotel with stunning views over the amalfi coast. Pool was clean and perfect to cool off in. Staff we helpful and friendly. we’ll appointed rooms. good location to wander into praiano and walk down to the beach.
This hotel is amazing. It's in the best location, close to both Positano and Praiano by a 10 min drive or water taxi. The beach club is exceptional. The lobby and lounge spaces are peaceful. I would certainly come back!
The location was perfect. Praiano is close to Positano and all of the Amalfi Coast but is a little quieter. Buses run regularly and the system is easy to use. The views from the villa are spectacular!
