Popular points of interest nearby include Brighton Dome and Komedia. The Brighton Centre and Victoria Gardens are a 17-minute walk from the hotel. First of all, the location is like 5 minutes walking distance from the Brighton Pier, very close to the sea and almost anything around you is on a walking distance. Then, it's a nice street where the hotel is based, a really nice clean and tidy house. Steve, the host was very nice and welcoming. For a solo traveler as myself the Deluxe single room is a perfect choice, not expensive and it has everything you need, including the nice sweet complementaries like cookies and caramel candies, a soft drink and water in the fridge. You get a coffee machine with capsules and a choice of instant coffee/tea, milk, etc... I'd definitely consider visiting again the next time I'm in Brighton.

The en-suite bath or shower rooms and the private bathroom have a hairdryer. Ironing supplies and free WiFi are also available. Lucia,the host,was amazing. The ambiance was relaxing and comfortable. It was home from home.The breakfast was nutritious and sufficient (especially the toast). The heated floor in the bathroom was luxuriously pleasing!

All rooms include flat-screen smart TVs and complimentary on-demand movies, free WiFi and free toiletries. The Laindons is a B&B as it should be. The house and all rooms are decorated not like a hotel, but like a family living space. Very tasteful, comfortable and pleasant. The hosts are very friendly, breakfast is exceptional. Also the location is perfect in Hastings. Silent street, directly in the centre. The Laindons is certainly not cheap but it is probably the best hotel I have experienced so far.

Just over a mile from Eastbourne Pier on the south coast and 20 miles from Brighton, this award-winning inn has a great location 2 minutes’ walk from the sea. There is free WiFi and free parking on site. Our room was very pleasant and the food was great (we had the full English breakfast and Sunday roast). The bathroom was very large with good storage and plenty of heating. Staff were very friendly and it was nice to stay at a family-run business that locals also enjoy visiting. The pub atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. It was great being located close to the start of the Seven Sister's cliff walk. The bus stop was close by and we caught the bus to the Seven Sisters Country Park and walked back to Eastbourne along the cliffs. The parking lot was also very convenient as we had driven down from London. The Pilot Inn made our stay in Eastbourne very enjoyable.
