Amazing staff, facilities and prices (we booked on a weekday so I know it'll be pricier other times). Our room was ready early, staff were super helpful and the room, view and the winter gardens being right in the lobby was spectacular!

The hotel and the grounds were lovely. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were actually taken aback by how lovely they were. That’s everyone from the desk clerk, maintenance, spa staff and the staff at the bar.

Never stayed at a hotel that was so hospitable. Hotel staff constantly took care of us and anything we needed. They really treated us like family and brought us homemade pastries every morning that just made our day. We really appreciated our fridge was stocked with water and milk every day. The restaurant's food is amazing and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The rooms on the top floor were perfect for our stay and had beautiful views of Sheffield. The staff was so helpful at helping me get around town and give me ideas on kid friendly activities around town. Love the location of the hotel as well. You're in walking distance to the Botanical Gardens and Endcliffe Park as well as the downtown boutique shops. Matthew recommended us to visit Graves Animal Park and that was only a 15 minute drive and perfect place for children.
Stayed in room 5 in the attic conversion. The interior design is beautiful and key-safes make it easy to come and go. There was wifi available with password available by the front door upon entry. However the room was not cleaned or prepared well for my stay. Missing bedding and hairs from previous guest in the shower towel. I found brand new bedding and a new mattress protector unopened in the chest of drawers so used a duvet cover as base sheet and used the pillow cases on the pillows. As a late night arrival it’s good to know you can just get into bed, as that’s all that the room is (no breakfast, guests can just come and go to sleep. The bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied. The lack of cleanliness suggests they did half the job and didn’t remember to finish, or just don’t care.
The roof windows were open on a rainy evening upon my arrival so things were slightly wet.
The staircase from the ensuite bathroom on the first floor are steep and narrow into the bedroom in the attic.
The arrival information text was missing words but did contain the vital key safe codes even though the internal room code wasn’t needed as the room was unlocked with the key in the door.
Personally wouldn’t stay again because who knows how many people stay in that room before they properly clean it.
