The Wilde style is standard in every room, including fully equipped kitchens and kitchenettes, modern technology, rainfall showers, Hypnos mattresses, as well as free spring water, Nespresso pods, Brew teabags, fresh milk, handmade sweets, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The staff were exceptional, super friendly and welcoming, shared some great advices what to see and visit during our stay and overall were very helpful as we arrived way earlier than check-in time. Thankfully we could leave our bags and go explore around. The location was perfect for a first time visit to Edinburgh, plenty of places around to eat or have a drink, though I must admit that the apartment was too cozy to leave for long. Our apartment was just like in the photos, very clean and stylish. The beds were super comfortable too.

Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Beautiful and relaxing place to stay before we started our road trip across Scotland. Great breakfast that was included in the price of the hotel.

First opened in 1902, The Balmoral now offers rooms with a spacious marble bathroom and an interactive TV. Many rooms have views towards Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town. The front door men were amazing and helpful. Front desk was good too.

The glamorous Rutland Hotel has stylish rooms, a luxurious late-lounge, and a unique restaurant with a glass wine cellar. It is situated on the West End of Princes Street, with views of Edinburgh Castle. Excellent hotel in a great location, not in the old town, but even better in my opinion. Extremely comfortable suite, spacious and with great atmosphere and decor. Great bed linen and bath towels. Excellent a la carte breakfast. Very polite staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Great flat, very comfortable was spotless. Only an easy 5 minutes walk from bus stop with frequent buses into central Edinburgh (16 minutes on bus). Would happily stay again.

The nearest bus station is about 12 mins walk. It will take you an hour to travel going to the city center, but you get to see the neighboring towns and see interesting sights. Overall, we had a relaxing stay in the caravan.
