I was pleased that the people and the vibrancy of Paris had not diminished over the years but had increased.
In the train back to London people were talking about their experiences and sharing videos of the splendid time they had.
It’s an incredible place for a visit.
I was there again with friends who’ve always wanted to see Paris, they were not disappointed

We know Paris quite well. Suggest staying on left bank.
We know Paris quite well. Suggest staying on left bank. It's quieter fewer tourists and more 'real' people. Use metro but check final destination boards carefully to avoid going in wrong direction. Leave one and half hours for return to Charles de G airport. Traffic horrendous. If travelling light use RER. Walk! (after Olympics!) All along the river Quai Henri Quartre. Relax don't try to do too much. Try Terminus Nord restaurant oposite station for old fahioned french restaurant experience. Try to get recommendations from friends as restaurants very mixed bag

The architecture, the vibes, and the hospitality of French people made me admire the city. I love the experience of walking in pairs neighbourhoods and exploring the city through walking in its authentic old streets or through transportation in the great network of metro stations. Also, there are several shopping options, from local to high-end brands.

Paris is a beautiful city, although I recommend off season because of the crowds. I was so pleased to see that the streets were clear of dog poop, unlike in the past. Also Parisians get a bad rap for being rude and I also do not find this to be true. Definitely worth a visit

People are not friendly... wouldn't let me off the train first, barged past on transport and the street, no apologies.
Food great, especially snails, crepes, steaks and fries.
Transport great, only 2.15 euros each time.
The hotel is a good price/option when you are booking late and prices in Paris are off the charts. But it is really a budget option so you need to be flexible with some details. The location is really good compared with other budget options that are in the outskirts of the city, also lots of Metro stations really close by. The reception guy that we had to deal with was very nice and accommodating. The room cleaning ladies were really nice and overall the building is new so in much better shape that many other old Paris cheap hotels.
Great location. Extremely clean rooms, bathroom was a bit small but that is not a problem especially because it's Paris. The rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels bedsheets everything. Lovely lobby area in the hotel. Breakfast was good, just the usual pastries bread cereal but cheaper than going to a cafe! 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and easy access every other major attraction by the metro stations near by. Nice area too with lots of nice restaurants and cafes. Had a really good stay here.
Easy to find, nice courtyard, friendly staff. There’s everything you need as a solo Traveller, doesn’t matter the occasion (business / leisure). The rooms are a little dated, but everything’s sparkling clean and well maintained. I was especially surprised by the quality of the bathroom which is unusual in France. very clean 👍. I had switched to this hotel because I had a horrible experience somewhere else, so this hotel felt like heaven to me in comparison.
Very cheap Hotel. You get what you pay for. The staff were nice. The room was alright. The bed was good, the bedding was old but clean. We had a sink and wardrobe in the room. There was a view of Paris. Windows were big enough. Lights were bright enough for the whole room. It wasn't too noisy. We stayed on the fourth floor. Like I said, everything is justifiable. For tourists, this may be too shocking. For people used to living in Paris, it is what it is.
We loved the location of Hotel Relais Bosquet! It was a nice neighborhood in the 7th arrondissment. The staff was friendly and the room was well appointed even if a bit small. The shower was the best feature! Great water pressure! It was also the only place we stayed while in France that had a iron and ironing board which was much appreciated. We also loved the added bonus of electric black out shades! Bed was very comfortable, as well!!
A beautiful hotel with amazing helpful staff who complimented our brilliant visit to Paris specifically mentioning Kevin and Aminda who were superb and couldn’t have given a better service for our first time in France as UK visitors.
Based in the middle of the city centre, easy for transport, has safe underground parking and very very close to the Eiffel Tower along with various restaurants.
Would 100% recommend the hotel to everyone!
Great hotel to stay in the middle of Paris. metro is near and only mins to the Louvre and Eiffel tower! restaurants and popular shopping stores just walking in distance in under a minute! My room was amazing. the bed was soft and had complimentary champagne and was upgraded to the balcony street view. the staff were attentive and very kind. Made my first trip to France phenomenal.
Phenomenal staff, willing to assist in every way we asked them to, always with a smile. Fantastic breakfast, incredible scrambled eggs (rare in France), fresh baked madeleines and crepes, really impressed. Location right next to line 14 metro that runs right through Paris. Enormous lobby with food and cocktails served into the evening.
Despite being one of the cheapest options we had, staying at this hotel was a great experience. The staff were welcoming and easy-going, and the room was very comfortable, with air conditioning, nice beds and a good TV with sports channels. Although the hotel is not directly in the city centre, it is easy to access via metro.
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel France Albion. My room was quite comfortable, everyone at the hotel was very helpful. I enjoyed the neighborhood, there was a great variety of food options in the neighborhood. Also, there were a couple convenient Metro stations very close by. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Bedford three nights to see the finish of the Tour de France. We loved staying at this hotel and found it to be elegant, very comfortable and clean, and the concierge service is extremely helpful. The location is outstanding for sightseeing and eating out in Paris!
It is not what the picture shows, extremely expensive for how old and poorly maintained this hotel is, a musty and dusty smell, the paint is lifting off the walls, the Beds they show are not, it is a horrible sofa bed ....The worst hotel in our stay in France, lucky it was one night....
It’s a great place to rest with good views! The rooms are small and compact and it’s a great fit for a night’s sleep! As the name says it’s a budget hotel and cheaper compared to many hotels in Paris. So did not expect too much but it’s worth the price in Paris. The breakfast was good.
The France Louvre is one of my favourite hotels when in Paris. it’s nice, cosy and affordable (although prices have gone up last year but what hasn’t got more expensive). inspite of it being 42 degrees outside and no AC in the hotel, it was comfortable and not too hot inside
Great location. Nice, quaint hotel with homey feel. France was very helpful in accommodating my family with a larger room with a view. It was our first visit to Paris and he upgraded us to a larger room near the end of our stay. Paul and Nelson were kind as well.
The room was so spacious for France. The hotel feels like it has recently been remodeled, and I love the lines and convenience of the layout. The location is exceptional - close to Gare St Lazare, RER stops, and shops/restaurants/historic buildings...etc.
Good location near Gare Lyon for southbound trains. Perfect for a quick visit to Paris from south France. Relatively close to major attractions like Notre Dame, the Louvre, latin quarter. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.
The hotel exudes an authentic style, and the rooms are notably spacious, especially for France. Furthermore, the hotel boasts a convenient location, particularly for those arriving by train or plane, as the RER station is situated nearby.
good location to see different parts of paris further out of the city centre. nice choice of restaurants near by would recommend Thai Kok. Hotel is quite basic but good for value for money as a cheaper option staying in Paris.
