What a wonderful city!
What a wonderful city! Completely different to London and Brussels in some respects. We found it to be a very friendly city just like Brussels and has some similarities with London with ease of use of the metro system, however, if you have mobility issues then I wouldn't recommend using the metro at all. Stations we used all had stairs to negotiate and I didn't recall seeing any lift access. A 3 day/ 2night midweek break via using the Eurostar, was lovely and we managed to see the Arc du Triumph, which is on the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre museum and did a Seine cruise. However, there's much more to experience in Paris and will definitely go back in a heartbeat. Don't try to do too much in one go, soak up the atmosphere, experience real French cuisine at the numerous cafes and brasseries. As you would expect, places around the tourist attractions will command higher prices so it's worth exploring the side streets for better dining experiences.

You can never spend enough time in Paris, so calm down and do not pack your schedule to fit into your trip as much as possible. Paris is meant to be experienced, nut rushed from one touristy spot to another.
Paris already looks like a museum, so if you are on a budget - do not be upset about having to skip a bunch of "staple" attractions. I once packed my trip with museum visits 3 days in a row and was emotionally exhauted from all the art in such quantities. Never plan 2 museums in one day, not in Paris, not in any other city.
If you're planning your visit in octovber - I cannot recommend enough to try attending Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre (The Grape Harvest Festival in Montmartre). I came there just on a walk and was absolutely astonished with the shower of culture, food and music the French were enjoying at the base of the Sacre Coeur Basilica. Added thousands of points to my experience, plus I got to try really good escargot there and so many other authentic French foods from all around France.

Eurostar transport is great.
Eurostar transport is great. Taxi was excellent and not overcharging.
All service staff that we met in hotel, train, cafes, restaurants, station staff and metro.
The Parisians were very welcoming and courteous. Young men gave up their seat immediately if we were standing. Very polite and supportive.

Amazing architecture.
Amazing architecture. Such polite travellers giving up their seats on the Metro, but the metro system is difficult to negotiate. I went to perform in a concert at La Madeleine to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Gabriel Faure. What a tremendous privilege and experience. And the view from the top of La Madeleine’s steps obverse Place de la Concorde and Les Invalides is superb.

Hotel was beautifully presented and in such a good location. Montmarte is definitely the place to stay in Paris. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were such good value for money compared to other hotels in Paris. Really good bars, restaurants and cafes as soon as you walk out of the hotel. We managed to walk to most of the attractions but the metro is the best and cheapest way once you get sick of walking. Will definitely be coming back here on our next visit to Paris!
The hotel is situated in a very good location 3 minutes from ternes metro station,Charles de Gaulle–Étoile metro station,Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. The staff was very nice and helpful with every need. The room was good, it had a large bed and a big shower. Overall I had a very good experience and felt that the price was relatively low (considering the fact that Paris is not a cheap place). When I come back to Paris I will definitely consider staying there again.
It was unclear what to expect since Paris became pricy over pandemic, but despite being cheaper than other options "Hôtel de France Quartier Latin" turn out to be an excellent value for money! Staff was helpful, liked the free coffee/tea area, and good breakfast starting early (key if you are on a business trip). Location was convenient for me in terms of work, and there are many great places at Rue Mouffetard.
The Hotel was super clean, which is really not commen in Paris! The bed was very comfortabel and in the 5th floor I had a little french balcony. Overall I must say it was the best hotel in Paris I stayed in for that budget and will book it again. I booked it without breakfast and there are plenty of cafés, restaurants and bars around.
The staff was very nice and spoke english.
Nice, cheap hotel in a good location of Paris, lots of shops and attractions nearby. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fit for purpose. The rooms were quiet which is also good. Very close to a train station so good to get around by public transport!
