The room was comfortable and being able to walk around Wick, was good. We were very impressed and highly recommend that people check out the Wick heritage museum.

Kacey could not be a more accommodating host. She also prepared great meals for dinner and breakfast and was able to accommodate all special dietary request for our group. To top it off her entire facility is extremely eco conscious. I would highly recommend the Burnside Cottage.

Really nice and clean apartment with plenty of room for 4 of us. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. Backyard area was pleasant for sitting outside. The host is accommodating and very easy to communicate with. Great value for a great place!

The house was very fine, delightfully quirky and full of character reflecting its long family associations and interests. My hosts were charming to the extent I felt very much at home. I left with reluctance!

I have been to Wick many times because there is plenty to see and do.
This time we headed to John o Groats to the Puffin Croft Petting Farm which was such a joy.The lady who owns the farm is there to greet you and tell you about the goats, the sheep, the pigs, the donkeys, the rabbits and the Shetland pony - hope I haven't missed one!
One place you must look for is the shortest street in the world which is in Wick.

Wick itself is a pretty but windswept and deeply depressed town. There is not a great deal to do in March - the walk to the castle was nice although I was almost blown off my feet. I had half a day there which was more than enough time to do everything that was open in the town. I plan to go back and explore the surrounding area over a couple of days,

Wick is an interesting old town in an interesting part of Scotland. There are many archaeological sites around worth seeing. The town has lovely places to eat, a super museum and places to walk or even swim in open water.

Wick itself looked rather shabby in places (probably looks better at high tide) and was very quiet when we were there. It is a good stop-off when moving up the coast between Inverness and John O'Groats with an interesting castle on the coast just north and other archeological sites close by. It has a good Tesco with reasonably priced fuel and we found a good pizza take-away in the town centre.
The accommodation was good and as expected, but located in a deserted part of the town just back from the harbour. Ours was the only car parked on the road overnight but the area seemed very safe.

Wick is an awful run down town and the accommodation was a disgrace and certainly not as advertised and shall be requesting a refund for mis representation of property. This is not a hotel and certainly not an inn, just a room over a derelict shop
Fantastic location! Lydia directed us to Castle of old Wick which was beautiful and a great morning walk!
The room was very comfortable, great en suite, everything was clean and neatly placed.
Nice varied breakfast menu with great local touches. Delicious breakfasts with generous portions!
Both Lydia and Graeme were very warm, welcoming and helpful (even with poor Graeme’s newly broken hand!)
Very helpful welcome pack too which was a nice touch!
We’ll definitely be back and recommending friends!
excellently laid out accommodation, very clean and modern. great location and parking simply at front door. bedrooms were cosy and cleanliness was exceptional throughout the property. everything supplied that any family or individual would need to enhance the stay. Fantastic location to explore Caithness and onwards to Orkney. I have stayed in all the local hotels over many years but from now on this little gem will be our destination if available.
The Bank Guest House is a lovely, family running house. My room was nice, clean and tidy. Location is perfect! I travel around by public transport, so it was an extra having the bus stop next to the door. Breakfast was huge and tasty. The beautiful harbour and the seaside are so close. A seaside walk to the Old Wick Castle is about 2 hours there and back, if you don't stack at the seaside.
This will of been the 3rd time we have stayed here, once again it was an amazing stay all thanks to our brilliant inn keeper Joanne who made us feel at home and went way beyond our expectations :) simply put,we absolutely love it here and this is the only place we will be staying when visiting wick.
Once again, thank you Joanne for a wonderfully stay, it was brilliant :D
A beautiful holiday home in a lovely part of Scotland, with so much to see whatever the weather. We chose this cottage as we wanted somewhere special for our 25th wedding anniversary and it had it all!! It's very comfortable, well equipped, spacious and the hosts were excellent. Class and luxury!!
Drumdry is perfectly located just outside of Wick and in a great location for the whole of Caithness. The cottage itself is quiet, secluded and secure. It is also a very high spec and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. It was warm, cosy, and very comfortable.
A surprisingly spacious house that you enter from a courtyard. The town is in easy walking reach and there good walks out to the cliffs. Very good stopover for heading off to the Orkney ferries or just exploring this part of Scotland.
The bathroom was splendid with heated floors. The room was very quiet too - even though the room faces the street. Breakfast was nice and our hosts were quite pleasant.
It was also walking distance to the main section of Wick.
This is a family run hotel and I was extremely comfortable and well looked after. A lovely breakfast cooked individually and a packed lunch on request. Would definitely go back if I am in Wick again. Thank you Helen and Mervin!
The room was clean and had a nice view of the Harbor Bridge. The location is an easy walk from the train, and convenient to walk around the town of Wick. The proprietor is welcoming and informative.
Everything was fantastic and host was great and very good with communication that great we have booked again already can't wait to go back great location only minutes from the centre of wick
The breakfast was very good but the best part of our stay was the dinner in Bistro No. 1. The service and food were both excellent; it was one of the best dinners on our Scotland trip.
I liked everything! The landscape, the house, the hosts. The authenticity of that part of the Island. Blingery is the perfect location for visiting the Far North of Scotland.
The restaurant and food was better than expected, evidently better than other venues in Wick. A fair number of non-hotel residents had chosen to eat there.
