Nice location and very handy for the M1 J31 and A1M.
Good pub food next door and loads of more food choices in walking distance and many more that deliver on Just Eat etc.
Rooms at the rear overlook the adjacent canal and are quieter than the front.
Stayed here 10+ times on business travel and will use again

The Worksop area is great for easy access to lots of nature parks and attractions, such as Sherwood Pines, Sherwood Forest, Thoresby Hall and Clumber Park. Very small town. Small market. Best places to visit - The house is an ideal place to stay to tour the Dukeries. Welbeck Abby house is not open but visits to the shopping area and the museum are all free. 2 fantastic exhibitions on at the moment. 20 mins. from Whitwell Chatsworth House is not too far away. I recommend the farm shop café. Hardwick Hall was built in 1593. Last tenant died 1960's. Nearly every wall has a tapestry on it.ChristineUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Loved the hotel and its surrounding gardens and the adjacent canal with its locks will be a great distraction in the summer when the canal boats are passing through. Still very new in appearance and has everything that you would expect and at a very reasonable price. Will make a good base for a touring holiday as it has local attractions and plenty nearby as well. We will most definitely stay here again when we are in the area and have no hesitation in recommending it.

There are lots to do in Worksop and surrounding areas. All the hotels are nice and offer different options depending on what kind of stay you require. The shopping is good in Worksop and there is a cinema with plenty of places to eat.
