Food was exceptional none of our party could finish the home made pie. Breakfast was also good. Location was right in the centre of Lincoln and an easy walk into the centre of the city. We were given parking permits to allow us to park right outside the hotel.

Breakfast buffet was really big and eggs were fresh. Good assortment of food, good value. Room was quite big and we appreciated the metal (not plastic) tea kettle in the room. Lots of seating area in the lobby to enjoy a drink from the bar. Very pet friendly.

We had an amazing experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham. From the warm cookie welcome to the friendly and professional staff, everything felt first-class. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable — the bed was so cozy, and the bathroom was luxurious with great amenities. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, style, and luxury. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nottingham!

Short walk into the city, which was very picturesque along the canals. Nottingham is absolutely gorgeous and well worth the visit.

It's been a long time since we last visited Nottingham and...

It's been a long time since we last visited Nottingham and we certainly won't be in a rush to go again! There is so much graffiti around, especially outside the college (near the entrance to the City of Caves) which really doesn't make the college look good at all. I know everywhere has it's run down streets but not everywhere has graffiti. There are undoubtedly some good attractions and fab pubs so such a shame that some areas of the city look awful and actually feel quite unsafe.

It was meant to be a Luxury Lodge with a Hot tub. We left a day early ! The sofas were beyond filthy, there was a dead bird by the hot tub, the shower blocked and flooded the next day, half of the radiators didn't work so we were freezing at night, and the French doors didn't close properly, so none of our possession were safe. We left a day early and Clumber park was well aware why we left. The have apologised for every issue, but done absolutely nothing to compensate us . I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND .

Edwinstowe is a small and charming town.

Edwinstowe is a small and charming town. Our hotel was very well placed - the shops, pubs and restaurants were all within walking distance. Sherwood Forest was just a short drive (or a 15 min walk) from the hotel and there was plenty of room to park when we visited. The craft shops at the forest were great. Further afield there was plenty to see and do

Great forest and area, but property we stayed in was not up to standard, no amenities, I.e food&drinks. Would be great for families, lots for them to do. Various activities for families and children, don’t confuse this as centre parks, also called Sherwood Forest park, retreat

We know Mansfield very well and returned for a look around, although the town centre is not much different to any other area, there are some beautiful and interesting places to see close by. We visited The Carrs at Warsop, Clumber Park, Carr Bank Park in Mansfield, the Dukeries Garden Centre etc. The snow curtailed some of the activities we had had planned, as we had intended to visit some old haunts within Sherwood Forest itself. Sadly Mansfield Museum is a bit lacking in information, but there is some of the history of Mansfield industrial past, which was very interesting. If you have never been go with the intention of visiting the surrounding area you would not be disappointed.

Excellent hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. Issy in the restaurant was brilliant. The hotel is very dog friendly. Unlike many hotels the pet friendly rooms are just as good as other rooms. The food in the restaurant was very good. All of this at a very competitive price.

I incorrectly accused the staff at the Elms of running a Scam . My apologies as I got this hotel mixed up with another Retford hotel which is actually the guilty party. The Kings Park Hotel (The Old Police Station) is actually the hotel running this scam and I have now referred this matter to the fraud teams at both Agoda and Booking.com for them to follow up. My apologies for wrongly pinning this activity on the Elms. Please disregard my previous negative review.

My only observation would be that there are very few...

My only observation would be that there are very few facilities in Bunny, just a pub and service station, so just to be aware that it’s a very quiet, but very pretty village. Lovely countryside and walks which we loved, would definitely recommend this property.
