The people are friendly and accommodating. The city is small so it is easy to get all necessities and amenities within a short travel distance. However, you need a bank loan to take the public transport and the routes are sometimes longer than walking. We were there for about 24 hours, en route to the Shetland Islands. We very much enjoyed the open top bus tour, and spent a long time in the excellent art gallery. We could easily have spent longer in the gallery and exploring the city - several days probably! The bed sheets were fresh and white and i mean white. I travelled up to scotland as my grandmother was in hospital. Therefore bookings were last minute. Bon Accord Street is less than 3 minutes from Union Street, which is the main road that runs through Aberdeen City Centre. Would i stay again an the answer is yes.
