Excellent large room overlooking the trees out front. Welcoming staff who helped carry out bags up the stairs, noticing my injured hand. Pleasant lady in the spacious breakfast room, who was efficient and helpful. Handy position just off the busy A34, great for a stopover.
With a peaceful, rural location, just 20 minutes from the historic university city of Oxford and just 10 minutes from Abingdon, the hotel is rich in original character and dates to the 19th Century.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dinckley Court. It’s a beautiful property located as it is alongside the River Thames and the perfect spot for visiting Oxford and other nearby parts of Oxfordshire. There are many great options for eating nearby. We received a very warm welcome from Annette and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely stay at Dinckley Court again!

The room was small but cosy with a comfortable bed. The location is lovely, just over the bridge from town and surrounded by lovely tranquil countryside. It’s close to restaurants and pubs and the self check-in is straightforward. Breakfast is basic (toast, pastries, cereal, boiled eggs) but tasty. It’s a great spot to stay!

Very friendly place for dogs including hotels and restaurants.
I can't wait to come back.

We'd just missed the farmers market on Friday which was a pity. Science convention in the square on Saturday. A real hive of activity. Lots of lovely historical buildings and the Abbey gardens were lovely even on a wet march day.

We live in Leeds so the trip to Abingdon is one of our favourites .A small market town with lots of places to eat and lovely Oxfordshire countryside and wildlife. Nearby Bletchley Park is definitely worth a visit. There are lots of places to walk in Abingdon and lots of history to discover. Oxford is only a bus ride away and they are very regular .Would never drive there.

The property is in a great location in the Cotswolds and easy to get to Abingdon and Oxford. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. No issues checking in and happy to help with anything. Dogs welcome and there are good walks close by.
Water, some chocolate, biscuits and tea and coffee available in the room. There were also some travel shampoo and shower gels. These were all nice touches.
The hotel is in a particularly beautiful part of Abingdon with many Medieval buildings nearby. Our room had a lovely view over the garden and River Thames. The hotel is in a good , quiet location, and within easy walking distance from all the delights of the town centre.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very attentive and helpful. This is my second stay at The Coseners House.
Overall a very enjoyable stay. Very good parking by door, good sized utility and downstairs WC. Excellent, spacious and comfortable downstairs with lounge and kitchen dining areas and very large TV. Both bedrooms were very comfortable, one having an ensuite. Heating effective throughout. Oxford buses stop near but and Waitrose excellent. Abingdon Museum worth a visit.
The Plum Pudding is a lovely pub in a quiet location with easy access into Abingdon and Oxford by the local bus. Our room was comfortable, cosy and had everything you needed for your stay. The food in the bar was delicious, the staff were very attentive and polite. Would highly recommend. Parking wasn’t an issue we left our car there all weekend and used the bus.
Quirky old style hotel with boutique style bedrooms and en-suites; food exceptional and a great variety of choices. All the staff very happy and accommodating nothing was ever to much trouble, they even provided secure storage for our bikes.
We would highly recommend especially for visiting Oxford.
The Hotel was in a perfect location for visiting family. It was very clean, welcoming, with simple but good facilities. Everything we wanted for a comfortable stay, close to the pretty town of Abingdon. Ideal for everyone. We would definitely stay again, in fact it's our second visit.
This place could not have been more perfect. It was beyond spacious, homely and really close to the town center. We had a washer and dryer which was wonderful. It had great parking, two spaces which is hard to find in Abingdon.
A most gorgeous studio unit in a lovely village close to Abingdon. The unit is very well equipped, comfortable and modern . We well and truly had everything we needed. Very friendly accommodating hosts and a lovely cat.
This was our second stay in the last year and we have enjoyed our visits. Breakfast cabin is great and delicious choices. Good location for getting into Abingdon easily for lunch or dinner.
We had a wonderful meal when we arrived, not too long to wait. Enjoyed the room.
We could sit inside or out at the dinning and drinking areas.
Very close to beauty spots and Oxford.
Beautiful building, in a fantastic location, with interesting converted outbuildings in the historical part of Abingdon and with terrace and grounds bordering the river Thames.
Friendly welcome. Fresh room clean and well maintained. Spacious bathroom. Close to excellent pub/restaurant which did breakfast. Easy reach of Oxford Abingdon and Didcot.
Very clean. Staff helpful. Quiet location, very little noise in the hotel - although it seemed busy. Good size room and beds comfy. Good choice for breakfast.
