The hotel is in a perfect location. There was a mix up with the room as I had booked for myself and 2 children in 1 room but they were only expecting 1 child. However the staff came and put a bed up and was soon sorted. The room was very nice, clean and tidy. The food was very good.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We were upgraded to a splendid courtyard room.
Super huge bathroom with free standing bath and fabulous shower. Lots of towels and toiletries. So big there was an armchair there.
Beautifully furnished room with a large sleigh bed.
Hospitality tray.
Excellent dinner and breakfast.
In the centre of Hunmanby but parking is available. What a find!

Great location, very close to Filey and not very far from Scarborough. The static caravan was very well equipped, perfect for the whole family. The caravan park is lovely and we felt safe enough to let our children go around by themselves.
Dog park was really nice, to let doggie off to run around by herself and meet some new friends.

The Southgate B&B was exceptional. Very modern, smart and clean with all covid measures in place but not in your face. The facilities in the room were excellent.
The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in a B&B and everything was beautifully presented. The hosts Chris and Julie were very friendly and accommodating.

Filey is perfect for young families, or like us, a holiday with our grown up kids, a lovely old fashioned seaside town with plenty of pubs some with live music, and good places to eat easy to get to Brid or Scarborough on bus or train.

Plenty of walks. 3 miles to Filey along the beach or clip top path. Turn the both way and you can walk to Reighton. Both paths can be muddy. Good area for dog walkers.
Beach is clean and save to play on. No facilities until you get to Filey.
Filey is a short drive away, good pub food. Very friendly people.
Filey has a large supermarket.

I love Filey as I’ve holidayed there from being a young girl, so for about 65 years so I may be biased. Filey has a magnificent stretch of sandy beach that’s dog friendly from 1st October to 31st March and the rest of the time the stretch in the middle does not allow dogs. There are lots of things to do especially for children with a park and playground for youngsters. It’s also a great place to stay and have access to many other towns and villages a short drive away.

A lovely place, loved the seafront with its tasty donut and seafood huts.Plenty of places to have a cup of tea and fish n chips. Lovely promenade for a walk and to stroll along on my mobility scooter. Plenty of free seafront parking including free disabled bays. Lovely seaside shops with all the seaside bits and bobs you want, buckets n spades, wind breakers, stick of rocks, sugar dummies, fudge and fridge magnets. The little town centre had some some lovely shops and plenty of places to eat from fish n chips to chinese. Very clean and tidy place and a must place to visit. For those with walking difficulties, it is very hilly and my mobility scooter cut out trying to go from the seafront up to the town centre so had to use the car to get there.
The property was very modern and clean. Every bedroom had its own en-suite facilities which was fantastic. No need to share bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could have needed. The location was great and within walking distance to Filey shops and seafront and only a short drive to Scarborough. Although there is no off-street parking we never struggled to find parking spaces nearby for two cars. We will definitely return in warmer weather to make use of the lovely garden.
Hilltop House was stunning with incredible views. The little extras such as the welcome pack, milk, fresh bread and eggs made it 5 star. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The sky TV package was very welcome as we had a couple of days of bad weather. The village shops and local pub are 5 minutes walk away. There is easy access to Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough. We did some walking and found easy routes straight from the house to Filey and the seaside. An excellent choice, we will be booking again.
Sunrise Cove worked out really well for us (Mum, dad, 8-year old daughter and dog). Apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. The Bay resort has excellent facilities (warm, indoor pool and gym particularly welcome) and the beautiful beach is 10 minutes walk (dog really appreciated that !). Filey is a 5-minute drive with lots of places to eat and has its own well maintained seafront to stroll along. We would definitely go back !
We had a great stay at Rutland West, we came for a couple of days to escape after we got married and it was just the perfect retreat. We actually stayed in a much more expensive place the night of the wedding but we had a much better stay when we came here. Debbie and Chris were so warm and welcoming, breakfast was fab and the room was clean. The B&B was perfectly located for exploring Filey and the beach.
The hotel was conveniently located in the center of Filey, making it easy to get around.
The owners was friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night's sleep.
Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.
Room and Breakfast were very good. Dinner menu limited and some meals were poor. Because of this we ate dinner at other establishments after 2 days meals in the White Lodge restaurant. However there was little choice of venue in Filey itself. Quiet location was good
A very clean, comfortable and well appointed property. Cannot fault it. Had a lovely Christmas weekend and would definitely stay there again. The Bay at Filey is an excellent location to visit the main East Coast resorts.
Excellent location with great views over the bay. Hotel looked like it had been recently refurbished & redecorated, everything looked very clean and new. Food in restaurant (dinner and breakfast) was very good.
Couldnt falt anything , absoloutly every spot on, the position in Filey , we shall be looking top stay at Belle Street again in the not too distant future, met Anna the housekeeper she was very nice.
Everything at The Southgate was excellent.
The following Night we stayed having booked through BOOKING .COM at The Grand Hotel Scarborough it was deplorable'
What a difference between two Hotels
Great value. Spotless. Lovely lady who meets and greets etc. 10 mins to Filey front. Kitchen spot on. Sitting room warms up quickly.. TV good ,loads of Sky channels. I repeat, fab value
Great location with everything you needed in the apartment and on site. Very close to the secluded end of the beach. Only 2 miles from Filey and not far from Bridlington.
The location is close to a beach but a long walk from the town of Filey. You have to drive to other shops/restaurants. It's very quiet though and peaceful out of season.
The hotel is perfectly situated on the sea front and a room with a sea view is highly recommended. Staff were really attentive and the food of a very high standard.
Lovely cottage; perfect for two of us and a dog. Comfortable and well equipped. Very clean. Excellent location in the centre of Filey, yet still nice and quiet.
The area was good quite at night the proprietor's we're really nice the room's we're lovely we couldn't have gone anywhere better had a fabulous time in filey
