Pretty town and easy to get to other places. However, we were turned away from visiting the Cathedral by one of the organisers of the Flower Festival where the event was taking place. We were taken back by the brash man who said he was trying to get other worshippers out so they could organise flowers.....
No wonder people are leaving religious buildings and moving towards home worship....

Fascinating and beautiful cathedral.
Fascinating and beautiful cathedral. The art collection at the Pallant gallery was impressive, though no concessions on tickets for pensioners. Fishbourne Roman Palace was impressive . We loved the atmosphere and architecture of the city centre. Great Waterstones for browsing and lots of good places to eat. We had a delicious salad at Côte. The museum was packed so we didn’t linger long but it looked worth a visit.

Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do.
Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do. The cathederal is wonderful as is the canal boat trip. If you like food then there's lots of restaurants here. We visited 4 and they were all good especially Purchases on North Street which was exceptional. There is also a lovely walk around the city on the historical city wall pathway.

We only had a very short trip and could have stayed much longer and done so much more, we thoroughly enjoyed what we did do though. The Bishops Palace garden is beautiful and well worth a visit, we also enjoyed Fishbourne Roman Palace, which is really interesting and has some beautiful gardens and mosaics. Sadly it rained a lot and we couldn't do some of the things we had planned, maybe next time. We visited Tinwood vineyard on our way home and had a delicious lunch and bought some lovely sparkling wine to take home.

Where do I start! The room was beautiful and excellent value for money. The views and location truly amazing! I have stayed here before but only seem to be able to manage night at a time as I am always travelling. Would love to spend a week here!

Comprehensive shopping and eateries - we found the people really lovely, chatty and happy to help. So much history, lots to see. You must visit Luckes - independent, fabulous food, lovely staff. The Real Eating company - really good coffee, lovely staff. Our first experience was a bit unfortunate but the manager and staff were quick to respond and rectify that - highly recommend them - they have two venues in Chichester.
A very comfortable holiday let in a wonderful location--very close to Chichester, yet definitely out in the country. Near a great pub at Dell Quay. Well-equipped kitchen with everything needed for meal prep. Comfy beds, cozy living space, great shower. Jack's a terrific host--easy to get in touch with and very responsive. This was the second time I've stayed at Quay Quarters, and I'll be back the next time I'm in Chichester.
The hotel is in a great location close to Chichester and very easy to find. Rooms were spacious and well appointed.
The breakfast was very tasty, busy service but staff were very efficient.
The evening meal was extremely good and it was a pleasant surprise to try some new dishes. I had a couple of queries with reception and the receptionist was very efficient at resolving matters.
Location was excellent. I know Christchurch Harbour Hotel, hadn't realised it was the same group but restaurant in particular a joy. The hotel is extraordinarily well positioned. I didn't get into the hotel car park - which any way is very tight - but North Gate car park is very convenient. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient and altogether a very good experience.
The location of the property on the high street was great for a base for exploring the town centre. Whilst the hotel doesn’t have parking there was a public car park just 5 mins walk away which was reasonably priced and always plenty of space to park.
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable.
The hotel is on a quiet street, just a few blocks from the shopping center. It is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast room with bright and airy. The breakfast menu had everything we wanted to eat. We highly recommend East Walls Hotel.
The lovely apartment is right in the centre of Chichester with spacious comfy bedrooms and a large sitting/dining room. The large bedroom has a wonderful vaulted ceiling and views of the cathedral spire. Everything was as needed - well equipped kitchen, iron, hairdryer, etc.
Unsmiling Receptionist on arrival did not help the impersonal feel of the hotel. However, all we needed for sightseeing in Chichester with free parking and bus outside door. Restaurant on site, independently run, had cheerful, efficient service.
The staff were fab, especially Sam on reception. Our room was great, very comfortable and clean. This hotel/pub represents exceptional value for money right in the centre of Chichester, with great shopping and restaurants close to hand.
Excellent location. Not far from the Cathedral. Everything within an easy reach. It is a beautiful, well maintained hotel. I have recommended it to my friends and family who live in England for a weekend break.
Having normally used hotels in this area for work this has a refreshingly home comfort feel you can't get in hotel. This property was spacious, immaculately clean, great value. I'm highly impressed.
The location was great; 15 minutes walk from Chichester town centre. I especially liked the fact that in daylight hours you can walk into town up the canal path, which is delightful.
The location is good, nice and quiet but close enough to Chichester central town and to the beach.
Breakfast is very good.
The hotel is cosy with a warm atmosphere.
Pleasant, helpful but unobtrusive staff.
Central location with parking
Breakfast cooked to order, but quick
Good background music at breakfast (not loud).
Clean.
