This was a great location with parking and a local right across the street.
We used it as a base point to tour around Northern Ireland.
The staff were engaging, friendly and simply charming.

If you want a beach holiday with rocky walks and scenery thrown in then this is a good place. Easy bus ride away (two an hour) is the Giant’s Causeway. The helpful tourist office in the town hall has timetables and can tell you where the bus stop is as it’s located in an odd place.
Not so much to do in wet weather conditions but good places to eat that had plenty of room.

Lovely town on the North Coast to base yourself for all the excursions around. Fantastic beaches and plenty of good food places. Weather can change at a moments notice with sun, rain and the wrath of the Atlantic all in a day, come prepared. If you golf there are excellent golf courses.

As long as weather is good there is no better place to be than at Portrush. The beaches the food the pubs all great and the people always make you welcome.
General shopping would be limited however, but in reality when you go to portrush your not really wanting to shop.

I scheduled in Portrush because of a visit to Giants Causeway. I was pleasantly surprised with the city. It is a very clean upscale beach town. My only regret is not realizing The Harbour bar was also a restaurant. We did end up eating in a more trendy "European" restaurant and did not discover Harbour Bar until after dinner. As a traveler from the US, I would have preferred the old friendly feeling to The Harbour Bar and wish it popped up in a search for restaurants on Google.

A familu friendly place and very welcoming.
A familu friendly place and very welcoming. Plenty to do, with the beach, currys amusements and shops and cafes. The Jet centre and the giants causeway was a short drive and portstewart close by. Lovely place.
The Royal Court in Portrush is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. We were met by a very pleasant and efficient lady named Louise at reception when we arrived. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and had all the facilities you needed. The staff were very helpful and Ronnie in the lounge area even organised tea, coffee and delicious desserts for us that evening, as the restaurant had closed when we arrived.
A lovely breakfast the next morning completed our visit. Definitely a place that we would visit again.
Highly recommend! Aiden was a delightful and most accommodating host (including holding a parking place for us out front and guiding us into it when we arrived -- because parking in Portrush is a bit of a challenge). The location is fabulous -- directly across from the harbor with easy walking to restaurants, bars, and of course the water and gorgeous scenery. Decor was quirky and fun and delightful. The beds were super-comfy. If I ever return to Portrush, Aiden will be my first call!
Food was good. And the location of the hotel has great views of the Atlantic ocean and the surrounding headlands
This hotel is in a great location for anyone wanting to see the local attractions, like the giants causeway, Dunluce Castle and the Bushmills whiskey distillery .
There is also great restaurants here. And anyone interested in walking, there is a beach to walk along.
Portrush is a lovely town to have a short holiday in.
Thanks again to the staff in the Portrush Atlantic Hotel.
Located right off the main street in Portrush, this is a very good accommodation. This hostel is better than a lot of 3 star hotels that I have stayed in over the years. Tastefully decorated, clean rooms, friendly staffs and a fully stocked kitchen with a variety of breakfast options on offer, not to mention very competitive price. All in all, a great little gem in Portrush.
We decided to pay for a larger room as the price was so good and were pleasantly surprised when we were given the best room in the hotel. Extra large room with floor to ceiling windows and an outstanding view across to Royal Portrush Golf course. My husband was in heaven. Staff were super friendly and attentive. We stayed for 2 nights, would highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast excellent and staff very attentive. The hotel even delayed breakfast for us until 10.30 on Saturday as we do Parkrun (there were 6 of us) and that was great and much appreciated. The room was large, very clean and bed very comfortable, slept really well. The Port Hotel is situate right in the middle of Main Street, Portrush and you couldnt ask for better.
One of the most modern looking and updated accommodations I’ve stayed in. Parking right in front of the rooms made it easy to unload/load bags. Comes with convenient in-room continental breakfast + snacks. Friendly and lovely hosts. A couple minute drive away from downtown Portrush, and across the street from a grocery store and fast food place.
Albany Lodge is a great option of visiting Portrush. A fairly quick walk into the center of town, it’s a lovely home that offered me a big bedroom appointed with quality bed linens and furnishings. The proprietors were friendly and they hosted a lovely Irish breakfast customized to guests’ tastes.
It is in a very central location in Portrush, which is a very central location to explore the Antrim coast. We were in Room 1, which was very comfortable, and also had a great bay window with chairs to look out at the beach and activity going by. Breakfast was good, and the host was friendly.
it’s a great hotel right between portrush and portstewart on the coast road.Staff are excellent and very friendly.. Amazing breakfast. Had dinner on both nights and it was lovely too..Very clean comfortable rooms. This was our 2nd stay in 11mths and we will hopefully be back again soon 😃
All Seasons had a good location, a short drive to the city center. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. There were many options to choose from for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and we had a wonderful stay in Portrush.
Immaculate and modern room, owner Frank was wonderful, the cost was lower than all my other stays in Ireland. And breakfast was incredible. Get the pancakes with the bacon and fruit. Best hotel and breakfast in 6 days of travel by far. Plus nearby resturaunt, Urban, was exquisite.
Although it is a B&B I think it deserves to be a mini hotel. Rooms are excellent , great size very comfortable.
Breakfast was very good with a great selection of serials, juices, fruit etc.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The B&B is in 15 minutes walking distance to Portrush.
Lovely couple running the Larkhill House. Very hospitable and welcoming. It is easy to find and walkable to downtown, even though the host was kind enough to drive us to the city center. I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Portrush!
Great location just out of Portrush. In current circumstances felt very safe hotel has taken appropriate precautions around current restrictions, you chose your time for breakfast and food was excellent. Lovely seating area outside.
Great place to stay. Owner was welcoming. Apartment was very clean and comfortable great location! Views were amazing. Lovely area quiet. Would definitely go back and recommend! Everyone loved it.
The hotel is very clean & has very pleasant, attentive staff throughout - reception/bar/restaurant
Food was lovely...had an evening meal & breakfast- pancakes were lovely
