I love this place! I’ve been coming to Glastonbury for the past several years to attend a spiritual gathering and the Crown has gone from “the closest place with a room on the dates I want” to “Ahhh…home again.” I’ve been in both the Dolly Parton room (super comfy to lay my head those soft pillows) and most recently the Bob Marley room (chill vibe, slightly better for longer stays like mine). The food continues to be top notch. Fair warning-if you’re in the higher floors, the staircase can be really steep.

The Covenstead was comfortable and inviting in every way. The rooms and the breakfast space were spacious, luxurious, and filled with interesting artwork. All of the staff made every effort to make us feel at home. There are always snacks in entryway for those of us too busy to eat.Freya, in particular, was a ray of sunshine and always willing to help. I was in Glastonbury for a Reiki training. The supportive environment at the Covenstead helped me focus my attention on the class and have a wonderful experience.

Im from the states and I come to Glastonbury yearly because i am a volunteer for the goddess conference hosted here and this town as a whole is a truly magical and incredible place. I am able to connect not only with my goddess here but with myself as well, its truly a wonderful place, one in which I hope to call home one day. It has so much history connected here and you feel it as you go throughout the town, the people and the places give you a experience you will not forget. Though one thing i should give info to is that unless you have a car, you will be walking quite a bit.

The Tor is a MUST as well as a bathe in the White Springs water temple (if u want to feel reborn!). Both are free, full of mysticism & magic in true Avalon style! Glastonbury Abbey & the Chalice Well gardens are wonderful & worth a visit too ;) Best pubs are The George & Pilgrim (its ancient ~ the oldest pub in the area) & The King Arthur which is very lively & has great live music most nights. Best restaurant 'The Queen of Cups' ~ Michelin starred largely plant based cuisine. Opposite there you have the award winning 'Knights' fish n chip shop (also does vegan options!) The High street is a highly unique, colourful & quirky place, full of independent shops that house real treasures & incredibly interesting & friendly characters to boot. All in all, you won't find a place quite like Glastonbury with all the above & the strong spiritual energy that courses through its ley lines veins, clearly present in this wonderful little place!

Spiritual, magical, visit the many ancient sites with reverance. It's unique, special and peaceful. Plan to deeply nurture your soul at each place. I thought it would be a quick visit and I stayed with the awe and quiet within. The contrast of High Street is available. Also offers colors, sacred music, lovely folk.

A perfect hidden gem for staying in Glastonbury. Easy check in and out, clean room, great communication and wonderful breakfast. Will stay again and wholeheartedly recommend. Even though it is situated on what would appear to be a busy road, we slept very well. I sleep very lightly yet nothing woke me up. Ideally situated for local sights and eateries. No parking on site but easily parked overnight in nearby carparks and no problems.

I stayed in the glamping pod and absolutely loved it. Especially having the tor right in front of the pod and the little porch. Sleeping right on the land near the tor felt so good. I would've used the bbq if I had more time. Walking through the fields to the tor and towards Glastonbury town was absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!
