Forces Manor, hotel in Kincraig

Located in Kincraig, 2.1 miles from Highland Wildlife Park, Forces Manor has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities.

Lovely guesthouse, with great family room, and access to good public spaces, including kitchen, dining room, and living space, all designed to encourage guests to talk to each other. Interesting story behind the Manor, lots of military paraphernalia but in no way overwhelming for non-military guests !

Absolutely stunning, better than we could have asked for! Lodge was gorgeous and location was spectacular (makes coming home very sad). All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed archery 🏹 a day of watersports too which was also very reasonably priced. Coffee from the Boathouse was spot on and the meals were yummy! Really really impressed and will definitely be back! 🏄‍♀️🚣🏊‍♀️

The location is lovely by the lochside, but that is to be expected for a water sports facility offering what it does. The rooms were clean and adequate though maybe small for a long stay. The bar and dinding area was large and airy and had lovely sunny outlook over the loch with open terrace and tables.

The idea of getting people together is brilliant. We admired Tony's enthusiasm and tenacity. Transforming this place to a hotel has been his long term dream and passion which we really admired. It was great to read his story in the booklet in the room, so that we knew how this place has come about. We wish him all the best for the future. It was a shame we didn't have time to have more chat with him. All in all, this place can be an inspiration for many people...

Large room with a good layout, warm and with excellent shower. The place was very quiet and peaceful with a large dining/sitting room. A small equipped kitchen means you can sort your own breakfast and dinners. All very well organised. There are plans to add a bigger kitchen. Tony was very welcoming and has done a great job in developing the Forces Manor to provide excellent value accommodation.

It was very clean and a well laid out accommodation for our group. Great living space for our group to have a laugh and chill out. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The accomodation was in the perfect area for the activities we attended and it helped us a lot with timings and changing.

The property in located next to a beautiful loch in the Cairngorms. Lots to do water-sports, tubing, archery. If you stay at the property for 2 nights or more get 20% off activities. The restaurant on site had a great tasty menu. We had breakfast and lunch there.

What's not to like about Shetland cottages. Great accommodation, fantastic location and scenery. Lots of things to do within the area or a short drive away. We stayed with our toddler and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend it to everyone.

The Forces Manor is an extraordinary place, with any extraordinary owner. It is basic accommodation but a kitchen, and ensuite in most rooms. It was fine for us for one night with a dog.
