We loved the Green Grove House. The property and the views are superb. The owners did everything to make our stay was memorable - great clean rooms, comfortable beds, and very nice breakfasts. It was our first time in the Dales and our visit exceeded our expectations.

Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks.
Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks. Unfortunately like much of England currently the walks suffered from the amount of litter particularly the amount of dog poo and full dog poo bags discarded in all sorts of places such as dry stone walls

Malham is absolutely beautiful.
Malham is absolutely beautiful. I can imagine it is really busy during the summer so October was an excellent time to visit. Malham Cove is stunning and a short walk from the village. There are lots of beautiful walks right from the village. We started and ate at The Lister Arms. Highly recommend this pub. The food is fantastic and the staff very welcoming. Loved the bar woth the open log fire after a long days hiking. The fish and chips were top notch. The Moules Marinere delicious. The beds very comfortable and the rooms stylish and cosy.

Malham is a beautiful old village with fantastic walking on the doorstep. The village is extremely picturesque everywhere and Gordale Scar,Janet's Foss and Malham Cove all provide the perfect circular walk from the village that can be done easily in 2/3 hours max and each place is unique and stunning! An absolute gem ! It gets busy obviously but early mornings or late afternoons and dusk are perfect times to see these places .Dusk walking is stunning here catching the late light .Paths are all well maintained and easy to follow with fantastic signage everywhere for those who are new to the area and the landscape is ancient and very interesting.

Malham walks are a must.
Malham walks are a must. Two main walks that I did were both great. The malham cove walk is challenging and you need plenty of energy and the second walk to gordale scar/Janet's foss is a very easy walk and a must too. It is also good for dogs. The two pubs are welcoming and friendly. Easy to get around and the old barn cafe has lovely staff and sensible prices.
What a wonderful find, a lovely homely hotel in an idyllic setting. We used the hotel an a base for walking Pen-Y-Ghent and it is the most dog friendly hotel we have ever stayed in, not just tolerant of our dog, but truly welcoming. The staff were very attentive, efficient and friendly and the food in the restaurant was superb, with an excellent choice of dishes. My wife is vegetarian, and she was delighted with the options available. The rooms were a little quirky, which we really liked, and were clean and well presented.
Absolutely beautiful stay at Miresfield, the rooms were gorgeous so spacious, comfy and decorated beautifully, loved the touch of some homemade biscuits too. Breakfast was fabulous, loveliest staff to welcome us and take our orders for breakfast. Location of the hotel is perfect, can take a walk to Malham cove or explore the near by villages, free parking at the hotel too. We loved our stay here and will definitely be returning!
Beautiful period hotel built in 1840 located in the small picturesque village of Kirkby Malham. We booked a triple room which was spacious and very comfortable. We booked in for an evening meal, menu was veried & reasonably priced. Staff very helpful & friendly and we finished our stay with a full English breakfast, we would highly recommend & will be returning in the future, Thank you to the Victoria for a lovely stay
My wife and I stayed for two nights at the end of our vacation. We were both very happy with our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the food was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was especially impressed by their COVID precautions which made us feel more comfortable given we were flying home to the USA immediately after our stay. I'd definitely stay at The Lister Arms again!
Very friendly staff all the time we were there , nothing was too much trouble. Our dog was included all of our stay, and was given sausage for breakfast. The setting of the Lister Arms is amazing! Set in the centre of beautiful Malham, walking to every one of it's amazing sights was possible, with a roaring fire in the dog friendly bar area to look forward to with a pint afterwards
A lovely location just over a mile from Malham. Comfortable room, excellent food and beers, but what really makes this place is the exceptional welcome from the lovely owners and staff. Perfect base for walking with car parking in a designated area across from the church next door. Can’t wait to return! Thank you to you all!
The hotel is dog friendly and all the dogs we saw behaved impeccably well. The staff are all very professional and extremely helpful and friendly without being pushy or noisy. The food is excellent and the location, especially the restaurant and outdoor seating area is lovely and peaceful.
This little cottage is a gem. Comfortable, warm and cosy and perfectly located for exploring Malham and the surrounding area.
Thank you to the owners for the little extras (tea, coffee, biscuits and milk) which were very much appreciated after a long journey.
Fabulous location; walk from YHA Malham to Janet Foss, Gordale Scar waterfall and Malham Cove viewpoint, circular walk of three hours across the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Comfortable rooms and very clean, with good bacon baps breakfast available!
set in the most beautiful surroundings with stunning views of the river and Malham Cove.
The gorgeous restaurant overlooks the river and serve’s incredible food, if you’re vegetarian there are plenty of options.
Close to most things in and around Malham. 20 to 30 mins to local pubs with great food. Excellent for walkers with dogs, plenty of dog friendly pubs and eateries. Close to other towns with things to do.
Stunning location. Good set up in the Lister Barn for walkers with drying facilities etc. Great service. Excellent beer and commitment to local sourcing for ingredients. Stunning cheese plate.
