In the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lister Arms is a quintessential English pub and AA 4-star 18th-century inn, offering home-cooked food and cozy accommodations. After our walk in Malham, we had supper at the Lister Arms. The food was delicious and never tasted chips as good as these. The waiter told me they were locally sourced potatoes. I never thought potatoes would make a difference but these sure did. We stayed the evening and needed to get a larger room since our son met up with us. It was no problem to change rooms. We also enjoyed our breakfasts and would highly recommend Lister Arms and would come back. Thank you so much for being great hosts.

Located in Malham in the North Yorkshire region, Cove View Cottage is a 3-star property featuring free WiFi. This holiday home features a garden and free private parking. Well-maintained, well-equipped, homely cottage. Thoughtful touches e.g. provision of torch, tea and biscuits and milk in fridge - we really liked the pictures, ornaments (not too many) that gave the property character. Malham is a lovely place to visit and this cottage added to the experience. Archie the the border collie was welcome and he was very comfortable.

A beautiful area but a victim of its own success. Parking, unless you are staying at one of the inns/hotels, is an absolute nightmare and the range and quantity of facilities available are not really adequate for the very large numbers of tourists/walkers that visit.
Malham is one of the most picturesque places in Yorkshire it’s beautiful ,scenery includes Malham Cove , Malham Tarn , Goredale Scar and Janets Foss is something out of this world , we try to visit every year , there are Three hotels in Malham itself all look lovely 😊
A fantastic place for walking, we visited Malham Cove and climbed the steps to the top. A wonderful view of the beautiful Dales. We had a lovely pub lunch at the Victoria Inn in Kirkby Malham, served by excellent staff
Good location for several walks of differing grades. Parking ample just outside the village. There is a choice of good places to eat and drink. Be mindful that the Buck Pub does not allow under 16 year olds inside! Just try and book as the places get very busy. There is a visitors centre, which is very useful and the toilets are open during Covid.
Staying in Malham is ideal as there are plenty of highlights nearby within walking distance. We don't drive but managed to walk a lot and see Malham Cove and the top of the cove, Gordale Scar, Janets Foss and Malham Tarn. There are even more things to see if you drive.
A beautiful place with plenty of excellant walks to enjoy. The scenery is beautiful and there are plenty of pubs and cafes where you can enjoy good quality food and drinks at the beginning or end of your walk.
