Esplanade Hotel, hotel in Perranporth

Overlooking Fistral Beach with stunning Atlantic views, the Esplanade Hotel has an indoor child-friendly swimming pool, a spa bath, and a sauna.

We were traveling with 3 kids, so we appreciated the family room setup with bunk beds so we could all stay together in one room. The kids loved their special hot chocolate tray! The pool was great, and we also enjoyed the silent disco while we were visiting. The warm croissants and pan au chocolate at breakfast were particularly appealing to my kids, and the play areas in the dining area were nice to relax as adults while the kids were busy. The hotel is very close to Fistral beach and the rock pools, but we could still walk to the downtown area for dining and shopping. There is a playground near the golf course that my kids also loved.

A super annexe, clean, well equipped and maintained. Such a kind host ,very supportive. Great welcome hamper on arrival was a lovely touch. Super location for Perranporth beach is only a short walk away. Private off road Parking was good. We ate out a couple of times and the gluten free pasty from the little shop on the main road was scrumptious(they are bought in reheated but very good)

The sea and waves are amazing .

The sea and waves are amazing . The car park pay machines take your money but don't give a ticket ,it took £ 6.50 from me , There are only 2 disabled park spaces ,they are in either corner of the car park and are impossible to get in and out of. The one that looks out over the bay has a 3 foot square metal sign declaring this is a disabled space smack in front of your car front windscreen . The Watering hole pub on the beach is always great, polite friendly staff and cracking menu ,delicious food . Perranporth never fails to recharge the batteries, will be back in 12 months ,hope the care park improves .

A great place to visit and base yourself from to visit around Cornwall. The town has the usual range of shops, pubs etc but what makes it special is the great big sandy beach with easy access. Great for people and for dogs,

Good location for us. Near the sea. Short walk to all the facilities, pubs and shops in Perranporth. Sea view from bedroom is lovely. Well equipped kitchen and good sized sitting room and TV. Good hot showers. Good storage. Plenty of towels and comfy beds. We’re swimmers so you can dry wetsuits in garden and store in utility room. Getting the call when we were driving down that the property was ready at about 2pm was really nice and helpful. I always think 4pm is a bit much when you’re out by 10am.

The location of the property is very good, overlooking Perranporth and an easy 5 minute, 1.5mile drive down to the centre. Not walkable unless you are very fit as it’s at the top of a steep climb. The property is externally, very well presented and maintained. There is a small garden area but this has a two seater bench, no table and chairs to sit out on. The kitchen it’s appliances and the bathroom are to a modern standard and worked well.

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Perranporth beach. It was also convenient for exploring further afield in Cornwell (by car). The apartment was small, but well appointed, with a comfy bed and plenty of pans/plates/glasses etc in the kitchen. A book provided by the owner had operating instructions for all the appliances, and an allocated parking spot meant we weren't worried about where to leave the car.

The Hotel is absolutely special. This is a very nice place. It feels local and private. We felt like important guests. First class. The food was outstanding. The chef is truly talented. He caught a trout that day and it was our dinner. I am on diet restrictions and they fully accommodated me.
