Very friendly staff, good food (dinner and breakfast). Good vibes. Lovely fluffy bath sheets and premium natural body wash bar. Ear plugs in room if any noise bothered you (didn't need them).

Penzance itself is interesting, but it is also a great transport hub with bus services to Land's End, St Ives, Mousehole, Porthleven etc, etc. Take a stroll up Causewayhead for a really interesting vibe.

Penzance is a great place to stay as base if planning to explore the region. Plenty of restaurants and shops, just be mindful that in Cornwall everything closes early! Is nit crazy pretty as other towns BUT is very convenient and cheaper than most.

We stayed there for 2 nights before, and one night after, a week in the Scilly Isles. Would like to return for longer, Loved the prom and the walk to Newlyn, also the, very frequent, bus to Mousehole. There were other places we would have liked to go to, a sculpture park, St Michael's Mount, a National Trust Garden, but no time. Wide choice of eateries. We used the Taj Mahal and The Admiral Benbow, both excellent. There were bikes for hire (Beryl bikes) but they seemed to be very expensive. There is a Lidl which seemed to have the same prices as elsewhere, ditto the small Co-op.

I FELT SAFER WALKING AROUND ISTANBUL ON MY OWN.
Penzance is full of drunkards and druggies
Plenty of evidence of used needles ,even at 4 pm
The bus station didn't even feel safe.
PS.I live in Manchester not in a rural village
The locals told me they only visited to use the supermarkets on the edge of town

A town full of history, and good places to eat - and easy reach of other places around Lands End and the Lizard. We ate at the Turks Head and the Bakehouse (both had great menus and were dog friendly) and our hotel. We also went to Falmouth and Marazion to eat. The Penlee Gallery was really interesting (current exhibition especially) but unfortunately not dog friendly so viewed in instalments. Park and Gardens enjoyable (we were mostly lucky with weather). We would have liked to go to the Scilly Isles but too full on the day we asked. Booking in advance needed!
Josh is an extremely friendly and helpful host. He gave us a lot of insider advice as to what to visit in Penzance and also in Brighton (where we had a blast in Snooper's Paradise!). During our stay, he always made sure that we have everything we needed. The hotel is well-located and the rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything that one might require. The breakfast room is neat and offers a variety of healthy options, including fresh fruit.
A lovely light, airy and comfortable house in the perfect location for both the seafront and the town. Great welcome gifts to ease you into your break after the drive to this wonderful part of Cornwall. Less than 5 minutes to the promenade, 1 mile walk to Newlyn, 10 minutes walk past the town gardens into Penzance centre. Fab rooms, fittings, furniture, shower and attention to details.
Perfect location. Beautiful accommodation with everything we needed. Easy access to the gated car park. Great communication from host Joel. We had a lovely stay in Penzance with day trips around Cornwall - wonderful, just wonderful! Can't wait to return.
The location of the hotel was good for exploring Penzance on foot. Parking is limited but we were able to park four motorcyles outside the hotel. Both rooms were quiet and the breakfast was good.
It has parking included on the grounds of the hotel, which was handy. The location is correct, in between Penzance and Marazion. Not much to add, sorry.
