There were no foldable luggage racks so we had to put suitcases on bed or floor. But the clean towels were stored on the bed. Odd

We found everything about the Masons Arms to be exceptional. The property is well maintained and is located on a quiet street in a small village, which the setting allowed us to relax and enjoy the overall experience. The room was very well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and large en-suite. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was both very delightful.

Absolutely loved this B&B We stayed for 3 nights. Comfy bed, lovely bed linen and super soft towels! Shower and bath also great with lots of hot water. Tea coffee biscuits and water also in the room. Superb breakfast with great choice and very friendly staff, especially Dorothy the owner, nothing was too much trouble. Great location with off road parking. Small village with good post office,pubs and butchers. Lovely nearby river walks along the Coly and on Seaton tramway route. Close to Seaton wetlands with walks, hides and visitor centre. Close to Seaton beach and Axmouth and lovely countryside.

Colyford is a small, quiet place with beautiful buildings, enough inland to enjoy the scenery but near to many coastal resorts. The pubs are all very nice and providing you eat meat, their menus are good. As veggies, we had to travel a little further. But the area is so lovely, this was no hardship.

The hotel's location is close to the border of East Devon...
The hotel's location is close to the border of East Devon and West Dorset and is very conveniently placed for all the local seaside beauty spots such as Beer and Branscombe. Not forgetting the Jurassic coastline. The seaside town of Seaton is just two miles away which offers plenty of pubs, coffee houses and restaurants.

Lots of home made ingredients. We had a large room with a great view, and a very comfortable bed. The owners are lovely people. Parking is round the back. There are two pubs within walking distance, both serve food. The Nature reserves are walking distance away, Seaton is 1.5 miles. There's an electric tram from Seaton to Colyford which we used once. Great fun.
