A very nice experience, friendly welcome, warm, comfortable, and everything working, when travelling on buisness you tend to get some but not all things in good order, but I was very pleased as it was a location I ahd never ised before, but would use and recommend

There was somewhere to sit but it was not a place that was suitable for drying my hair and putting on make-up as the only mirror was not nearby. Anyway, we managed okay. Staff were very accommodating. We hadn't eaten that afternoon but we were told we could have a take-away in the bar. Therefore, a few doors down from the hotel we got a really lovely Chinese Take-Away.

Options at breakfast were excellent. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Clearly guests are treated very well, and supported in their stay. I would add that I potentially lost an item at the hotel, and the staff helped me a great deal, they let me back int he room and I was pakced off with a coffee for a long jounrey.

Room was lovely and clean and the staff were all lovely. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to get breakfast (too much alcohol the night before 😂) but as we were leaving we were offered a sandwich and a cup of tea which we both thought was a lovely gesture. We would both definitely recommend The Bell to anyone looking for a place to stay in peterlee.
