Everything. There’s nothing we could find fault with.
Private Double Room with Ensuite, No Breakfast, Truro City Centre is located in Truro, just 26 miles from St Michael's Mount and 28 miles from Lizard Lighthouse & Heritage Centre.
Truro is a lovely city in Cornwall. People are friendly and hospitable. Tons of restaurants, shops, cafe's, and there is a Town Hall that has entertainment, movie house so a short stay here would be filled with lots to do. The Cathedral is a lovely place to visit and there is lots to do from this central point.
Hire a car and head to Newquay, Falmouth or St Ives for the day.

City centre was lovely!
City centre was lovely! We enjoyed meandering through the cathedral (which was very grand, the architecture absolutely brought me to tears, managed to light a prayer candle for lent, also they have an ongoing exhibit about awareness of abuse in the church) and the cornwall museum is closeby :D they have wacky artefacts. The coffee and cornish pasties and the pastries are the bomb dot com but the other grub not so much, i mean, it's just typical british fare innit haha also truro station connects easily to penzance and the other more touristy bits. Transportationwise, quite hard, buses are a little but unreliable even with the time table. Not much uber drivers but the taxis are popping. There are taxis around the station and they have a taxi calling app and there are cards that you can get from the accommodation. Pretty old timey but charming.

Truro is an attractive small city and it’s easy to find parking and to walk around the shops and see the cathedral.
There are plenty of places to have coffee or lunch.
The bus station is right beside the shopping area, which has a large Marks and Spencer’s, which has a cafe, a large branch of Waterstones as well as a good selection of independent shops and an indoor market.

Great base for exploring Cornwall but not sure what it’s like in summer. We parked in the town with ease but we visited in November.
Masses of shops. It is the county town so is a magnet for shoppers.
Cathedral and Cornwall Museum worth a visit. Hall for Cornwall has a variety of shows.
Thoroughly enjoyed the pasty shop for lunch.
Check roadworks though. A30 was closed intoTrurofor the whole weekend whilst work is going on building the new by pass. It took us ages to follow the detour.

I did want to explore the town a bit more, especially the cathedral, but this visit was to see a show and I had to return the next day.
I had a meal at an Italian restaurant literally up the road from the hotel, it was decent enough.

Truro is a lovely place to visit.
Truro is a lovely place to visit. Old and new buildings to see and plenty of places to go. Resturants of many different cuisines and a nice open area to sit and chill with a coffee. There is a beach, about 7 miles away, (Perranporth) which is lovely and has the traiditional fish and chips, kiss me quick hats etc and you're not too far away from the north side so Newquay etc is all available within 45 to 60 minutes in the car.
Supermarkets are a plenty in and around Truro too. The catherdral is a must to visit. A beautiful building and well worth some time spent.
Great location. Lovely hideaway Lodge on the outskirts of Truro. Dog friendly property and area.
Makes a fantastic base for exploring Cornwall. Beaches within short distance in the car.
A very quiet and peaceful location - perfect to unwind and relax. We slept so well due being no noise from outside.
The lodge was cosy and we enjoyed making use of the outside patio and furniture on the sunny days. A traditional cream tea on arrival was a welcome touch from the owners Janet and Luc.
The caravan was spotless and the kitchen was all in good working order. The bathroom was massive with a separate shower and full bath.
The hosts were great and helpful and also provided some Cornish goodies.
The view across the farm was beautiful with wild rabbits, peacocks next door and other wildlife.
Great location, literally 5 minutes drive to Perranporth Beach and 5 minutes from the main dual carriage way which runs through Cornwall.
This is a stunning property. Immaculately presented with quality decor, bedding and towels. Well equipped kitchen. Extremely comfortable beds. Claire has thought of everything!
Short riverside walk into Truro or Boscowan Park. Elevated position providing beautiful views across the river with fab sunsets. Easy access to major routes for visiting other areas of Cornwall. Generous parking area - a definite bonus when booking stays in Cornwall.
Sally was absolutely brilliant and the photos don't do the place justice.
Maple & beech barns is stunning and there is everything you need in the accommodation.
Sally was there to greet us when we arrived and also had milk, coffee, tea, home made scones and lots of other things there for us which was a lovely touch.
Would not hesitate to go there again as its the best place we've been to in Cornwall.
A great location with amazing, huge rooms which were extremely comfortable. The Townhouse has a pretty garden that you can sit out and relax whenever you want to. We had a continental breakfast delivered to our room each morning which you could eat either in your room or in the garden. We also had room service each day of our stay! I cannot recommend this hotel enough! I cannot wait to go back!
We had a spacious twin room at the front of the property. Had a fridge which I wasn't expecting so that was a bonus. Beds very comfy and bedding smelt lovely and clean.
Bathroom a bit basic but it was fine.
Tea/Coffee replenished daily.
Thought it was good value considering the area and easy to walk in to Truro. Very near to the Sainsburys that did a good value cooked breakfast.
We had absolutely wonderful 3 days at this delightful little B&B. The house is renovated beautifully, room was cozy with a huge bathroom, breakfast was delicious. The area is just lovely, super quiet and close to anywhere you want to go around to explore Cornwall. We saw bunch of bunnies, birds and a fox at the property. Will definitely stay here again!
This pub accommodation was as good as a mid-range hotel. The rooms were really spacious, modern, well-designed and maintained. I certainly wasn't expecting a Nespresso coffee machine either. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free, doorstep parking (with EV charging) and close proximity to Truro city centre completed the benefits of my stay.
This was an ideal location for us to use as a base to explore the Cornwall area. It was also just a 15 minute walk into the city centre and close to shopping if needed. The size was perfect for a couple and very clean, comfortable, private and quiet. The owner was available to give assistance if needed.
Excellent location for traveling around Cornwall. Just a short walk into truro city centre with plenty of places to eat.
Mary made us feel at home & was very helpful for the best places to go in Cornwall. The secure parking was great.
We loved staying with Mary & would recommend this to anyone.
Really enjoyed our stay. Hannah was a superb host. So friendly and informative.
The room was spacious, clean with super comfy beds. And best of all there was a really BIG tv in the room.
I would certainly recommend dining at the restaurant. Food was excellent.
- Beautiful hotel and massive room!
- The food was amazing!!! Breakfast every day and we had dinner on our last night!
- The staff were so lovely and always happy to help
- only a 5 min walk to town
- Had the best anniversary possible staying here!
The cabin has everything you need. Its a good size for two and the little garden is great. The location is great too. A couple of minutes from a lovely pub which does great food and just a short stroll into Truro. We will be staying there again.
Great location to see other parts of Cornwall.
Ben and Katherine were polite and great hosts.
Ben's culinary was excellent for breakfast. A must-have pancakes!!
Lovely accommodation with all the facilities of a 5 star hotel.
Well recommended.
The continental breakfast consisted of good quality food, with a good range l. The staff were very polite and helpful. Parking was round the back of the hotel and free. Very convenient for the Hall for Cornwall and the cathedral
Very easy to get to, close to Truro. Wendy was very friendly and helpful, room & bathroom extremely clean, top notch breakfast. Overall a very enjoyable stay, would certainly recommend it.
