Good value, nice pub with great views. Staff were all happy friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Food was way above what I was expecting and of a very high standard. Breakfast was nice and lots of hot fresh coffee.

The pub has a lovely atmosphere and our bedroom was lovely, dark carved wooden headboard, two lovely comfortable chairs. Yes we had a view of the cemetery from our window but no problem for us. The breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. Also had a meal in the evening which was also good.

Eyam is a very pretty and really interesting village, with plaques on houses which are relevant to the history of the village relating to the plague. They have a museum that also tells the story of how the village was affected by the plague, which unfortunately wasn't open due to time of year. The village pub (The Miners Arms) is a very charming pub with an excellent choice of drinks. They also serve food, which we would definately recommend.

Small but very good and informative museum in the village. We only found one place to eat - at the pub - but the excellent Indian restaurant in nearby Stoney Middleton is worth a visit (booking advised).

Eyam is a beautiful historic village. A great place to stay with good facilities - a post office, local shop and store, tea rooms, village pub and post office. The Eyam Tea shop is a must and a lovely meal can be had in the Miner's Arms. Full of history and character.
Full of history and character. Good to explore local footpaths. Visited in March so lovely and quiet. Recommend walk to Monpesson's Well but it's quite an uphill hike from village. Walk (or drive) to The Barrel at Bretton for good food and fantastic views.SarahUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
Such a beautiful and interesting village in the Peak...
Such a beautiful and interesting village in the Peak District, we had no idea of the history of the village during the Plague when we booked a weekend away. The museum and church are well worth visiting, with so much information and memorabilia on show, we were warmly welcomed at both. There’s also lots of interesting information dotted about the village. We were lucky to see the beautiful well dressings when we visited during their carnival week. There are a couple of good places to eat with an excellent choice of food and drinks, The Miners Arms was our favourite, we also enjoyed a coffee and cake at the quirky Vintage Tea Rooms. We would avoid visiting on a bank holiday next time!Mrs BUnited Kingdom

The host was very helpful recommending local eating establishments (Bull's Head Inn and Red Lion - both were excellent). Our room was big with King Bed which was very comfortable. No ambient light so very dark at night. Breakfasts were first class and host was flexible with mix and match from menu choices. Internet was quite fast.rogerCanada

We were so lucky that the hosts were able to work around us checking in early as we were attending a wedding in Eyam so we were very restricted as to when we could check in. The walk from Eyam to the property was a simple short walk just slightly dark down the lane from the street but nothing our torches on our phones couldn’t help with.
