The hotel is acceptable, let's call it 3.5 to 4 stars, as this system is always a little less in Italy. It's a good 25 minute walk from the Porta Nuova station. The trams runs outside and cause some vibration noise in the hotel. Rooms are OK, a little worn, fridge was cold, television had BBC and some international channels, singles are small, shower was small, the breakfast was quite good and complete. Air con was a wisp of cool air, very slight. Fine for a night or two, as the other hotels in this category in Turin/Torino were more expensive. Tour busses parked out front, so groups use the hotel. Let's call it OK, but not a 4 star like a Sheraton or Hilton.

Italy’s first capital, sophisticated Turin has many elegant buildings and porticoed streets. Large Piazza Castello is the focal point and centres on Palazzo Madama, an unusual structure with a Renaissance façade and medieval body.
The next door Royal Palace backs onto Turin Cathedral, home to the Turin Shroud, the cloth with an imprint of Christ only rarely on display. Its museum is just one of the many fantastic Turin museums. None is better than the Egyptian Museum, the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts outside Cairo. Also noteworthy is the Mole Antonelliana, housing displays on Italian cinema and supposedly the world’s tallest museum.
By the Po, Italy’s longest river, is the Parco del Valentino, a tranquil park that is home to the Borgo Medievale, an artificial, medieval-style settlement with a castle.
However, within Italy, Turin is best known for sport and cars. FIAT is based here and nostalgia lovers can visit the rooftop track on top of their old Lingotto factory, now a conference center. The city’s 2 Serie A football clubs - Torino and Juventus - also have electric atmospheres at their games.
Watch out for amazing views of the Alps as you fly into Turin Airport. Public transport then quickly links you to your Booking.com hotel, B&B or hostel.

Beautiful city and so easy to get around on foot and via Metro. Plenty to see and do. Amazing park, architecture and people who were really friendly and had the time to converse with us. Most of the people spoke excellent English which made it far too easy for us. Excellent train services in and around town and from the airport too.

Turin is one of the most charming cities in my travel experience. The art and culture are so rich and beautiful. Everything is detailed from art to food. I am impressed with everything Turin has. The architecture, the palace, the culture, the food, the gelato, the people they are all top qualities in every area. The city itself has everything you like , you can shop for brand names with no que, go to quality museums ,or stroll around the city alone. You can have good coffee in the most beautiful café like Vienna, eat chocolate, drink, have apéritive ,….. I must say I am falling in love with Turin. Rome Florence Milan Venice are too crowded too many tourists . The people here are very nice and friendly too. It’s quite safe to walk alone. You don’t have to worry about pick pocket ect. I ❤️Turin

We loved the auto museum and the Juventus stadium tour.
We loved the auto museum and the Juventus stadium tour. We would have liked to have seen the Egyptian museum but did not have enough time. Unfortunately our trip was cut short because of the long travel delays at the tunnels between France and Italy. We ate in Eataly and other onstreet restaurants. It was easy to use the trams to get to where we were going. Driving was a bit more confusing.

Amazing place to visit.
Amazing place to visit. The piazza's are plentiful, as too are places to stop for coffee/cuisine and watch the world go by. We loved the architecture, shopping and museums and although the weather wasn't so great on our stay, the City itself didn't disappoint!

Many opt for Milan over Turin, but it's time to reverse that trend. Turin isn't just an industrial city as commonly perceived; it's a stunning destination steeped in history, once the residence of the King of Italy. With its abundance of historical landmarks, excellent shopping, and delightful dining options, Turin offers a tranquil ambiance distinct from other Italian cities. Its compact size allows for leisurely strolls, making it a perfect getaway.

A beautiful city, less obvious than Rome and Milan, but offers a lot of attractions, both for those who like monuments and art, and for those who are interested in cars or movies. The area is also worth seeing, and the Alps look amazing. Turin is also famous for its food.
Good quality and well furnished room. I had lived in many 3-star hotels in Italy, and this one is definitely one of the best.
Super friendly staff: I asked the staff(an old man) about the time I may need to walk to flixbus station. Indeed I could follow the googlemap, but amazingly he prepared a sketched map at midnight that indicated the best way approaching the station. It saved my poor Samsung battery a lot. I can feel his earnest attitude to every traveller.
Loved everything about this property from the professional reception and breakfast staff to the enormous bathrooms to the modern architecture. This hotel has it all at a very reasonable rate. It’s not close to the Turin attractions but has restaurants and museums in the area. “Eataly” is a unique restaurant-grocery store that offers a wide variety of menu options. And Double Tree gives free vouchers to the Pinacoteca Agnelli museum - its worth the visit!
The hotel is located in a grand old building. The breakfast room is particularly pretty. It's on a small secondary street but well located: a block away from the Principi D'Acaja subway station, two blocks from streetcars going downtown, and within walking distance (without luggage) of Porta Susa. There's a small supermarket nearby (open on Sundays) and some food options. Breakfast is simple but good. There's an elevator to help with luggage.
I had a lot of drama outside the hotel during my 2 days in Turin. I had a problem with a robber at train station and then even though i had valid ticket for metro/tram had a very upsetting experience with the train police. Deborah the manager helped me through all of this. Paulo ,who lives in the apartment complex was my angel through my stay . He helped me with everything. God bless you Paolo for being my saviour in a tough 2 days in Turin
After traveling around Italy in various hotels, this location was a breath of fresh air, high ceilings and plenty of windows that allow for air to circulate through the apartment easily made for an incredibly refreshing and enjoyable stay. A forth floor apartment giving plenty of distance from traffic for comfortable white noise and an incredible view of the Mole Antonelliana. Will definitely stay here again in the future!
We weren't in there long - in late out early. The staff were very friendly. We don't know Turin well but the location seemed excellent, stepping straight out into the graceful collonades for which the city is famous - for us it was perfect just 100 metres or so to Porta Suza station. Hotel was clean and well modernised. Breakfast smelled good but we didn't get time to try it. Good value overall.
The hotel is located in a nice part of Turin, 30min walk to old town and close to public transport
The check-in and check-out went smoothly and the people at reception were helpful
The room had everything it needed and was clean, the bed was comfortable
Breakfast had a nice variety and had vegan and gluten free options
We could park in the underground of the hotel
A beautifully designed hotel with a facade and lobby in Roman style to match the actual Roman ruins outside. Interesting staircase which slopes down the inside of the lobby, with details and photographs of existing medieval Turin.
I had a quiet room overlooking the central courtyard. Breakfast available until midday on weekends.
The breakfast was fantastic. The staff very friendly, helpful with curtesy and faces with smile. This is the first time I met a helpful people in a hotel in Italy. Specially need to mention about the people who works in reception. They are very humble and helpful. Good location and can reach everywhere. Recommend to anyone.
I am very happy with my choice of booking in this hotel..the staff were always smiling..polite...the place is amazingly close to every were..rooms were spacious...super clean..the breakfast was over our expectations....perfect choice...my hotel in turin for next travel.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel and room was extra clean. Everything I would have hoped for. Including following COVID recommendations from all staff. The breakfast included great coffee and brioche which is a staple I look forward to in Italy.
Kettle in the room (not that common in Italy!)
Fridge in room
Quiet location
English news channels on TV (if you want to watch TV!)
Cafes very close
Parking available for a fee (if your car is small!)
Money saved on hotel spent on nice meals out in Turin!
the service here is great and warm~ it, unlike many other hotels, provides many soaps, if you also love using soap like me, choose this one. I live on the soap this hotel gave me for my whole vacation in Italy
Great surprise in Turin, which is a city that need more hotels like this one. The room is very comfortable and the lounge/bar area is quite nice. The lunch offered is also quite good value for the money.
Super comfortable beds and bedding, better than most hotels we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Italy
Beautiful old building with antique lift that still works
Our stay was perfect! Turin is a beautifull city and the Franscesca’s advices were very good. The B&B and Frascesca are lovely. We recommand this hôtel.
