Great location for exploring the Chianti region. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast every day as well as dinner a couple times, which was great. Both the bartender and the lady who helped at breakfast were fantastic.

Stayed 1 night, very warm in the place although it's made of stone. Also very clean and quiet. Free parking is available close by, 5 min walk. Very close to old city and great cafeteria close by.

This is a small and nice villa in a very peaceful environment very close to other towns and places around. It is a perfect place for an escapade in the middle of Tuscany. We got there by car and there was absolutely no problem with the parking or the address. The place is comfortable and the staff was really nice and kind. Our room's size was perfect for a short stay and temperature was adequate and comfortable.

Host was caught off guard by my confirmed Booking com reservation. Property manager didn't send check-in info to me in a timely manner. It was a non-refundable reservation. Apartment had no electricity, no water, no gas, no towels, no wifi upon arrival. It took time and phone calls and hassle to remedy. I received no compensation for this terrible experience. I am very disappointed.

A wonderful town, in particular the citadel on top of the hill, it's a historic fortress with tiny little roads and a wonderful view from the top. I'd recommend to stay in Colle Val D'Elsa rather than in San Gimignano as it's much quieter and less touristy place (unless of course you love the tourist buzz). If not staying overnight, I'd definitely recommend to add a half day trip to Colle Val D'Elsa to your itinerary, maybe accompanied by a quick visit to a small castle of Monteriggioni nearby and a dinner there at Ristorante Il Feudo https://www.ilfeudomonteriggioni.it/, the truffle tart there was AMAZING :-) Enjoy!

Nice city, historical facilities and local restaurants.
Nice city, historical facilities and local restaurants. Also a great point for visiting other attractions in Tuscany.
Enough free parking spaces. Visited several good restaurants and had great coffee and pastries at Pasticceria Mario Barone at a good price.

Colle Val D'Elsa surprised me with its old town, silence and cleanliness. No tourist traffic, two museums (we visited a crystal glass factory one), a medieval atmosphere, a few cosy restaurants, and great views of Tuscany from the city walls. The winery ,,Enoteca" in the town is excellent, not only do they offer wine, but they also have snacks and hot traditional food, which really made a good impression. The famous San Gimignano is just 14km away and is also very worth a visit and a return to the peaceful Val d'Elsa for night's sleep :)

Amazing breakfast! We’re used to non sweet breakfasts, but we’ve noticed that breakfast in Italian hotels is usually lack of eggs, sandwiches and food like this. Here hotel serves you amazing breakfast for any preferences.
Also, stuff was outstanding!!! Hotel manager made us feel as we were special guests and we noticed that he had great relations with all of the guests. Whatever questions or favors we had, he was there to help us out!
Last but not least, the territory of the hotel is beautiful.
Beutiful location in the old town just outside the ZTL. The owner was very helpful in directing us where to park the car and how to leave to avoid the ZTL. The owner offered several suggestions for dinner and the one we selected was excellent. Room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the landscape. Breakfast was excellent (scrambled eggs, ham, croissants, cereals, orange juice, various coffees and tea, etc,) Would highly recommend this hotel.
Magnificent. An absolute beautiful hotel that was a palace. Felt very fortunate to stay. Room, bed, shower 100% . The owner and wife excellent at what they do. The breakfast was the best and the verandah with sun to have breakfast on was perfect. Totally recommend. Thankyou Palazzo Pacini.
We stayed 6 nights, used as a base to visit the area. Best place to stay in our opinion. The host was wonderful, the apartment was excellent and was perfect for our needs. If you get the chance stay here do so because if we come back to this area of Italy we would like to return.
The mattresses felt like they were 40 years old--like the hotel. The staff were wonderful. Front desk employees were very nice and helpful. The location and hotel itself could be skipped.
The staff and breakfast were the highlights. Overall, best to skip this location.
I thought hotel was lovely, rooms were nice and clean and very comfortable, Mary the lady that served us our food everyday was an breath of fresh air to meet in the morning, couldn't do enough for us, so friendly and helpful, always full of chat, will definitely visit again.
We had breakfast in the main hotel which was only two doors away from our entrance. Excellent selection of yoghurts, bread, cakes meat, cheese, fruit and more.
We stayed in one of the apartments so we had plenty of space with a little kitchen and a very comfortable bed.
The staff is absolutely brilliant and extremely kind and helpful, gorgeous location and delicious breakfast. Definitely a great choice when looking for a stay in Tuscany. We had a great stay and reccomend this hotel. We will likely come back sometime.
I had a wonderful two-night stay at this charming agrotourism hotel. The owner, Maria, was incredibly nice, and I absolutely adored their Labrador dog, Arya. The place had a cute Tuscan style, and their own wine was delicious. Highly recommended!
Great for couples. The hotel has beautiful buildings and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly. Lovely pool area to lounge in. Easy to walk into the beautiful town of Colle Val D'Elsa.
I liked how old is the hotel yet well maintained. The location is remote which is excellent for a relaxation destination.
Staff is awesome and super helpful especially the ones at the front desk
Everything ... from the lovely environment the hotel was in ... to the delicious food in their restaurant and most of all to the exemplary, friendly and most helpful staff.
Hotel comfortable, location great. Breakfast a good start to to day. The receptionist was excellent and very informative, nice to see someone who likes their job.
location in Colle di Vale d’Elsa was nice & close to neighbouring towns. The spa was relaxing. The hotel needs some updating. breakfast included was very good.
The owners are ever present on the property and are amazing hosts. The hotel is an amazingly restored palazzo, everything about Palazzo Pacini is perfect.
