When we booked this B&B (based on the great ratings here) we had high expectations. Those expectations were exceeded in every respect.
First, this is an absolutely beautiful home built in the late-18th century. If you’re an art and/or antiques lover you’re going to be in your happy place. There is gorgeous wood furniture everywhere, complemented by original art pieces collected by the family over many years.
The hosts - Andrea and Silvia - are genuine, warm and welcoming. From the
moment we arrivee they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Water (with ice) and coffee in the elegant living room were immediately offered, and there was no sense of being rushed to room. This welcoming atmosphere was evident throughout our stay.
We booked the King Room with Moubtain View. The room was, in a word, spectacular. A big, comfortable bed with a cozy duvet and comfortable pillows welcomed us immediately. When the time came we sank into this comfort and had the best sleep of our trip so far.
There is plenty of space to spread out and a large, elegant wooden armoire for clothes storage. The bathroom is fabulous. Great shower pressure and unlimited hot water. But best of all? The stand-alone, deep claw-foot bathtub - a rare luxury in our experience in Italy on this trip. Reclining in a steaming bath after a long day hiking the Via Francigena was like heaven on earth, and would on its own have made the booking worth the highest rating.
Breakfast was fabulous. Rich cappucino (we had a second cup - it was just that good!), flaky brioche from a local baker, delicious pane Brutto (“ugly bread”) with fresh butter, fruits, yogurt, and juice. Generous, and served with smiles and great conversation in the lovely garden.
This was a fantastic stay. We really wished we had booked a second night, and will most certainly return if we find ourselves back in Italy someday.
Highly recommended.
Just a 18-minute walk from Viareggio Beach and 1.1 miles from Lido di Camaiore Beach, suite Apartment lido di camaiore mare features accommodations in Camaiore with a garden.
Offering an outdoor pool, Il Tremarino is located in Camaiore, a 10-minute drive from the beach. The accommodations is air conditioned and comes with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
Camaiore is a lovely little town. Some really good restaurants, great food. The people are very friendly and helpful. The scenery is typical tuscanny... amazing. Beaches (Lido de Camaiore and Viareggio) are easily reached. Pisa and Livorno are also easily reached if you want big towns but also the countryside is all around. Simply a wonderful location and stunning destination. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to spend one night at Villa La Bianca in May 2022. My VW’s GPS was inaccurate but when I telephoned the Villa, Julia guided me right to their gates just up the road a piece. I was road weary, and Julia helped me navigate with luggage from parking lot to room with patience, charm, and a golf cart. The Villa was quiet and they had upgraded me to a beautiful suite with a working fireplace and library. The Villa La Bianca compendium was thorough, and told a very interesting story of its history. The room itself was gorgeous and comfortable. The restaurant was superb. Chef was accommodating when I requested fish on what was meat night. Indoor dining was in beautiful surrounds with great lighting. In the morning when I was scheduled to leave for Pisa, Julia seeing how exhausted I was convinced me to stay and take advantage of the pool. This was some of the best advice I have ever taken. The pool is set amongst immaculately manicured and flowering grounds next to chef’s herb garden. I didn't see much of Camaiore proper, but what I did see driving through of the village was charming, and the vistas seen from Villa La Bianca were breathtaking and compelling. I hope very much to return to Villa La Bianca.

Nice little place to stay with nearby hiking, beach & not far from Lucca & Pisa Airport. Lido 20mins drive lots to do see & places to eat. If you go around the back near the lighthouse there is parking so you can walk out with a long stretch of beach.
Beautiful building with very modern renovation to a high standard. The hosts were lovely and really went out of their way to help make us feel welcome and make sure we had everything we needed. Free Hot and cold drinks and snacks were available 24 hours a day and a real bonus. The home cooked breakfast was by far the best we had during our entire trip through Italy. A short drive from the coast and lovely areas and cities of tuscany and the building and hosts were a truly unique and wonderful experience.
We loved the location, very relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Although they were short staff due to the season, it was a pleasant stay. Extra points for the lovely panorama, and the products they offer like olive oil and pasta sauce from their own production. Also great, very close to the hotel there are 2 amazing restaurants: Osteria Candalla and Emilio e Bona. You need to try them!
We loved Mathise the dog, is so cute! Thanks for all. We will come back!
It's an apartment with a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and oven), terrace, small garden and a private parking place. The stay was wonderful, the hostess very nice and communicative, I really heartily recommend. The place was cosy, clean and very spacious. At a distance of 10 minutes from the apartment is a huge, sandy beach.
We enjoyed the stay very much. You have everything you need for a family vacation. The landscape is decelerating and relaxing. Lucca is about 30 minutes away by car.
We were invited to dinner with the host on Fridays. It was very very tasty. I can recommend the accommodation.
The host is super friendly and helpful.
It was very clean and comfortable. The location was super good and the staff was very nice! They help you with everything and give you tipps if you need them. I wish I could stay and enjoy the city and the hotel longer. The breakfast is a typical italian breakfast wich I love! 10/10
It is a well renovated hotel in which some of the old charms of the original building have been preserved in the renovation. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They provide good advice for dinner options and excursion tips in Tuscany. Garden is well maintained.
Nice and spacious villa, lots of kitchen appliances and great yard. 10 min to the beach, cafes and grocery. Friendly and responsive host.
Great value for money.
Great, peaceful place in the mountains above Camaiore. Super hosts who helped us a lot. Spotless clean and comfortable room/appartment with magnificent view
