We were hosted by a friendly community of families - a very pleasant local experience! The room was neat, had everythung we needed, the house has a big garden, ping pong table and a swimming pool. Most importantly there is a bike shed which is handy when doing a bike tour!

This is such a lovely, pastoral setting in Tuscany. It was convenient to everywhere we wants to visit. Located just outside a small village 15 minutes south of Siena, it was away from the crowds of Florence, but close enough to drive there for a day. We easily visited three Tuscany town on another day south of the location. The apartment was well stocked and could easily be a home base for a week long visit. The pool, looking out towards the hills fields was a bonus. I loved to go out early in the mornings with my tea and watch their horses grazing.
With large outdoor pool and terrace, Il Poggiaccio is a 14th century estate set in the hills between Siena and San Gimignano. It features a wine cellar.

The historic setting was incredible. Lots of character. We loved the old arches in our suite. The pool was great. Close to Siena, which we loved.

The whole area is very beautiful, lots of small villages on hill tops, hidden gems, while in a perfect central spot in Tuscany. You can either stay in the area (Siena and San Gimignano still only 30-40 minutes drive), or explore further (Florence just an hour away).
We were greeted by the very friendly host Elvin with a box full of fresh bio vegetables. We had a nice garden patio where we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. My son was very excited to go through the farm every morning and pick fresh veggies. The pool area was very relaxing and peaceful. The farm is a very good base for exploring Tuscany: Val d'Orcia, Chianti region, and just a 15-min drive from Siena. We truly enjoyed our time at the Rinidia and we will definitely come back.
The location of the castello is very close to Siena by car, Sovicile is very nice and quite medieval town with couple of good restaurants nearby.
The property itself is very impressing, you literally live in the castle, the garden is very big with nice pool in it, the breakfast was good.
Special thanks and greetings to very kind and attentive personnel. They are really making the utmost for you to feel welcomed and comfortable.
The accommodation had up to date bathroom and kitchen but they still kept the rustic feel. It is a beautiful home and we got comfortable very fast. The garden is just beautiful and have a lot of locations to interact with. The location is also good for being away from the city chaos but close enough to important touristic locations like Siena. The hosts are also very helpful and generous on sharing travel and restaurant tips.
Marco and Monica are excellent hosts, as they are always available to help out with everything we needed. Definitely an excellent stay for families with young childrem. We enjoyed hiking around the countryside and enjoying staying on their large farm. Plus it was only an easy short drive of around 20 minutes to Siena, which was very convenient for us. We will definitely stay at Marco and Monica's again. Highly recommended!
Brilliant location, near enough to the town and Siena but definitely in the Tuscan countryside. The character of the property was perfect and just what we were looking for. The pool was amazing and our teenage kids enjoyed it a lot. The opportunity to eat an evening meal onsite a couple of times during the week was great, we really enjoyed getting together with the other guests and the food was lovely.
At the end of the world but nevertheless in good position for our daily trips in that region.
Room, pool, breakfast with 3 different possibilities very nice.
Absolutely calm, nice and charming.
Due to the fact we used the whole day for our trips we never ever had dinner at hotel.
APPRECIATED THE ON SITE FREE PARKING, HOT SHOWER AND BLOW DRYER WITH ATTACHMENTS!! BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND WE ATE IN THE RESTARAUNT FOR DINNER AND IT WAS DELICIOUS. NOT FAR FROM SIENA. FRONT DESK WOMAN (owner?) VERY HELPFUL WITH SUGGESTIONS FOR PARKING AND SITE SEEING.
Beautiful castle with large grounds, we felt transported back in time. Good breakfast. there’s free parking in the village square. Hotel is convenient for exploring around Siena area. We got some nice recommendations for dinner and parking in Siena from the manager
The hotel was absolutely fantastic! Great location! The staff was amazing! The food in the restaurant was delicious. Thanks for the good stay! Definitely will be back soon 💚
This hotel was everything we expected from good accomodation in Tuscany. Stone houses, flowers, clean pool with views and great breakfast. We would come back anytime.
Located near Siena it was the perfect base for small day trips around Tuscany. Our host was wonderful, friendly and has lots of useful tips and recommendations.
Massimo and his family are great hosts. His philosophy is: you are a neighbour, not a Hotel guest. And that’s how it feels to have holidays there. Wonderful!
