Location was perfect after hectic Florence &, Venice, & Rome. Quiet, peaceful, & only a stone's throw from the Abbey. The on-site restaurant had wonderful food, & many choices for breakfast. And we loved the cats!

Mocine is the perfect location for driving through the heart of Tuscany: a low-key, relaxed atmosphere that was welcoming, sparkling clean, and well-appointed. Plus, the scenery is the stuff travel posters are made from. Definitely opt-in for Concy’s dinners! She is a masterful chef who delighted us night after night with endless courses of luscious, regional food. Worthy of note is her loaded antipasti platter of bruschetta which changes every evening. Her hearty pasta courses ranged from savory ravioli to pici with chianina, and second courses were always a surprise like a mixed grill or steak with rocket - it was all outstanding.

the best breakfast we had on our entire 18 day trip in Italy. The host Laura was a gem. We enjoyed chatting with her about her property. Not a issue at all but the road to the hotel is a dirt road. well maintained but just an fyi.
