This is a gem, a respite from the bustling crowds ( of which we were a part of!) of history lovers that want to pay respects to the people and place of Pompeii. Their grounds and gardens are a beautiful match to all the lovely staff we met!
Set in its extensive garden, 1640 feet from the Pompei ruins, Hotel Diana offers free WiFi in all rooms and a shared terrace. Private parking is free onsite.

Nice top class hotel situated close to the Cathedral

Real great location and a nice room with a balcony
Pompei new center is lovely place. Not so noisy as Napoli, and still typical Italian. We visited here the Da Michelle pizza in Pompei, that was so good. There is also nice catedrall Santuario della Beata Vergine Maria del Santo Rosario. I recommend to buy the rosary in the near shops and go to this church and pray. If you want to visit the Vesuvio, recommend you to book the ticket online in advance. We had the troubles to book it 1 month before our trip, was already almost all booked. Pompei museum is huge and very interesting, if you like history. You will need whole day, or at least half day. Recommend you to go there at morning time, as some expositions might be closed in afternoon already. If you have sweet teeth, visit: Pasticceria Bar Gelateria Gabbiano. I ate the best gelato in my life here, and also tried the pastries that was all delicious.
People are overaly very nice and kind in Italy. It was our first trip to Italy and we were excited, and felt in love with Italy on the first sight.
We are looking forward to visit this nice country soon again.

easy to get around pompeii. hotel close to ruins, cathedral and plenty of choice to eat. i would avoid the 3rd floor of the habitat hotel with the roof garden and bar as very noisy when an event is on, apartment 301 is the room i was in. was not told of the event even though it was for one night until midnight. there was no bed settee in the bedroom as advertised, but there was a bed settee in the living room, but not made up with sheets or duvet. overall we were pleased.

The ruins are incredible and vast.
The ruins are incredible and vast. There aren't many places to get food/toilet so plan for this accordingly. It was absolutely heaving when we went (a random week day in May) and this did impact the experience.
There's a lovely place to get ice cream just a short walk from the entrance to the ruins and a really beautiful church down the road.
We found the people to be somewhat surly (and that's with an Italian speaking member of our group).

Very good place to stay and get trips around - old Pompei town, Pompei main street, Vesuvius mountain, and other nearby places like - Naples, Sorrento and others which can be reached easily by the train.
The town is very well maintained and it is very clean, bearing in mind the amount of tourists it gets.

Obviously the ruins (Scavi) are the main draw, but the town is very pretty. The Catholic Basilica does not have the size of the major basilicas in Rome, but it is just as beautiful. You do not have to stay here in order to see the ruins, but it does make it a less hectic experience. The ruins are free on the first Sunday of every month and on certain holidays. We went for free on Liberation Day (25 Apr).

Definitely a great place to stay to see the nearby...
Definitely a great place to stay to see the nearby attractions but, despite having three train stations, the transport links are not great. We were based here for a week and found the public transport frustrating. Last minute platform changes for trains only announced in Italian and giving insufficient time to change to the right platform. Buses leaving up to ten minutes early or not stopping. There is a Flixbus to Sorrento but it only gives three and a bit hours on a day trip from Pompei. To visit Capri we had to have a night in Sorrento which was an unexpected extra expense. On a final note if you eat gluten free the choice is fantastic. It is understood and catered for!
Eat&Stay B&B deserves more than 10/10. Everything was exceptional. The owner is a master cook, and prepares some of the best food Italy has to offer. Friendly guy, will take care of your every need. Rooms clean, modern and overall exceptional.
The owner goes above and beyond to help you with your stay in Pompeii. Down to earth guy, we loved him!
I cannot say anything more that will do this booking justice. You have to try it yourself! It was by far the best booking in our whole italy trip. We will definitely return in the future.
One of the best experiences. The owners are lovely and helpful. The house is clean, AC works great, the breakfast was top-notch, and the pool was beautiful and refreshing. You cannot beat the location - walking distance from the Pompei ruins, several restaurants, and the train station to get on the train to Sorento, Positano, Rome. We were also allowed to leave our car on the premises after we checked out for the entire day - which saved us a headache and money on parking when we went to tour Pompei and Vesuvius. We loved it!
There are very few places where you wake up and your view is literally of Roman ruins. Hotel Ristorante Vittoria's renovations are coming along so well I didn't even realize my room hadn't been upgraded yet. This is a very elegant hotel and the family who runs it are so welcoming and thoughtful of your experience. The breakfast options are excellent and unlike many hotel rooms where you try to stay busy to avoid spending time there, Vittoria was a place I enjoyed staying. Definitely worth staying in for your trip to Pompei!
This is the best place I have ever stayed for my Italy visit. The staff is very nice and kind. The room is comfortable(all new stuffs), the breakfast is very good and the check-out was very flexible. The location could not be better. It is close to center of Pompeii and a lot of good ristorantes are in walking distance. It is at the walking distance to The Ruin and is just 5 min walk to the central bus station. It is very easy to get to Napoli from this place(via bus then via train). Strongly recommend this place!
The Hotel Palma is really great placed in the city of Pompeii. There is close to Pompeii ruins, restaurants and train station as well. We've gotten great support from personnel of Hotel Palma and we have to express our appritiate to Catello. We arrived to early because of our flight so it was possible to leave the lagguaage in hotel deposit and start sightsing in comfortable way. Another 2 reasons : jacuzzi on the roof and great brekfast!
The host was amazing. Close to the entrance of Pompeii. Great food and drinks next door. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast he served was wonderful. The croissants and coffee was the best I've had in Italy. The host was informative and gave advice on how we should spend our time there which did NOT leave us disappointed. I absolutely recommend this place.
Very clean and modern. One of the best stays i have ever been in italy. Also the people there are really nice and always make sure if everything is fine. Also the breakfest was really good. They even ask if u want some specific to eat the day before. All in all a great experience. We got by train here and eveything is so close. Pompei Ruins and the B&B are easy to walk to.
The room is large and clean, very close to the Pompei ruins museum and close to the city center. It's quiet and friendly, the breakfast is good (italian, lots of sweets, coffee and tea, don't expect a continental breakfast in places like these as it's not traditional in Italy). A big 24/7 supermarket is right across the street if you need anything.
Everything .. it was the best hotel and staff i've ever seen in Italy, Mr. Emillio and his wife were caring as if they were our family .. a good location next to the highway, a good pizzaria, a supermarket and a huge commercial mall .. the room was clean and comfortable .. and breakfast was really delicious.
Best property we stayed in on our trip to Italy. Clean, spacious, modern with a lovely roof terrace and huge shower. Had a delicious breakfast from the cafe downstairs (also the best of the trip). Also they accommodated a 4th person in our room at the last minute. It was only 3-4 mins walk from the ruins
This hotel was wonderful! The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. Any needs that we had were quick to be addressed. The rooms and hotel itself was very clean. It was also within walking distance of the Pompeii city ruins and the city center as well. The complimentary breakfast was also wonderful.
Really close to Pompeii for early morning start. Big comfortable room, quiet at night and good internet connection.
Nice to be welcomed with a smile by the host.
Out the gate turn right for a really cheap local bar (with awesome breakfast cornnetos) or left for Franco’s pizza (the best we had in Italy…).
The location across from the Pompeii ruins and close to two train stations make it a great place to stay. The warm welcome by the staff and the cat gave the hotel a homely feeling. I did not partake in breakfast and was therefore glad that it was an option to omit breakfast from the price as well.
This was our favorite stop in Italy! The apartment was clean and comfortable and the square and surrounding area are so wonderful we didn’t want to leave. Michelin star restaurants in walking distance and the gelato and graffe shops on the corner were out of this world!
The owners added special touches that we didn’t find in other B and B’s in Italy. Drinks in the fridge, a small bottle of Prosecco, and more. I felt they were glad we were there. Bathroom was spacious. The location was great for walking to the ruins.
It was fantastic, the breakfast was delicious, the best we had in Italy. The view from the balcony was lovely and the staff were super helpful. brilliant location for visiting Pompeii. could not rate this place more highly.
Very nice owners, good english. Very friendly. Nice teracce and decoration on teracce. We ger recommendation to restaurant by next door And there were probably our best food in Italy. Highly recommended.
The hotel boss was very helpful. He advised on how to visit museums and how to get to Vesuvius.
The breakfasts were amazing! The best croissants in Italy (baked by the hotel!)
