Everything about this experience was spectacular. The staff is wonderful and has fabulous energy, and the owner, Josephina, is so welcoming. This felt like a beautiful, homely experience. It has set the bar so high for us now that I do not think anything else can compare.

We arrived for the last day of the San Giorgio Festival and I would highly recommend planning your vacation around the last weekend in May as it was incredible! The hotel is a very short walk from where all the activities take place and is a quiet retreat with a lovely garden outside. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a lovely outdoor terrace overlooking the valley.

What a beautiful place to stay in Ragusa. The room was large, clean and the bed was so comfortable. We had a gorgeous view out our terrace and the breakfast was amazing out on the lower level terrace. The parking was great for us as we were able to get a free spot in the parking lot so close to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we ever came back.

Very good location to visit the Syracuse-Ortigia and the Baroque cities Modica- Ragusa-Sciccly and Noto. We where in Ragusa Ibla, very cozy old Baroque city with good restaurants ( even for Michelin Lovers there where 2 restaurants with stars ) For doing the tour of the Baroque cities you need a car and to driving and parking in the narrow streets you have to kbe not sressy and concentrated. Also good for your work out , there are many stairs up and down in the city.

Ragusa itself is a beautiful town and very walkable, I'd recommend three or four nights to do it justice. As a town it feels like tourism is an 'add-on' and therefore feels very genuine and Sicilian as are the restaurants all of which we thought were excellent. The only downside is the public transport, to go anywhere outside of Regusa we found to be quite a challenge as basically you have to rely on taxis, however maybe the transport issue is what has kept Regusa such a beautiful place so its not all bad!!!

Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily.
Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily. It is surrounded by steep gorges, with the town spreading up three steep linked hills. It's a fantastic place to spend a few hours exploring the narrow steep streets. We found some wonderful shops - intended for tourists, but good value. There were also fantastic eateries and the local people we interacted with all seemed charming and helpful. We ate dinner in La Bettola in Ragusa Ibla, which was delicious and great value.

Ragusa has two parts to it, the old and new.
Ragusa has two parts to it, the old and new. The old city is very beautiful and interesting to explore. The main street is fun with restaurants, shops and a park at the end with wonderful views of the valley and mountains beyond. We did not go up the hill to the new city however so we cannot characterize it.

I loved Ragusa, the roads are difficult with a larger vehicle but this shouldn’t put you off just research your routes and think about where accessible parking can be found. The new town is interesting but not touristy whilst the old town is a lovely labyrinth of medieval street and lanes with beautiful Baroque architecture. There are restaurants worth searching for and we particularly enjoyed the ‘5 senses’!
The hotel is located close to Ragusa Ibla attractions but has a wonderful neighborhood feel. Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is served on the top floor on a beautiful terrace overlooking the town. Best of all, the staff could not have been nicer. Information on the town, recommended places to eat, and even a helpful phone call when we struggled to make a medical appointment. They were fantastic. Definitely a top spot in Ragusa!
The owner was super friendly and we were looked after really good. The service level was definitely over the expectations and place was really nice. We stayed three nights and overall experience was actually the best we had during our 12 nights in Sicily. Obviously the owner knows how hotels are managed and everything was done really well. The place had the conveniences of the hotel without loosing the coziness of the B&B.
We loved everything! The location is simply perfect - in Ragusa Inla right near the Duomo with pool and garden views over the valleys to Ragusa Superiore.
Our hosts were very helpful with directions and parking as we were driving and aware that the hotel within the ZTL.
Rooms were very comfortable and well equipped and ours had a magnificent terrrace with sun lounges and sensational view.
We were on our first holiday with our baby and in Ragusa we found our Sicilian home! Massimo and Cornelia are so sweet and will give you everything you need and more! They cooked dinner for us, gave us tons of advice and even took care of our baby while we packed our bags.We were simply overwhelmed by their kindness. If we come back to Sicily we will go straight to Terrazzo su Ibla.
The picturestique house was out of this world. It was like we were cloned to baroque times. Very cute, clean and everything you can need was inside the house. Giorgio was a unique host, welcoming and helping us on everything included the parking, showing and telling about the house, even recommended us with a lot of places to visit inside Ibla and outside Ibla in Sicily.
A perfect gem situated strategically between Ibla (Old city) and Ragusa, both easily reachable by bus or on feet.
Stefano takes the best care of his guests with lots of perks (like the best cannolli we’ve tried in all Sicily). The hotel is recently refurbished. And the coolest part is that it used to be a cave where native tribes used to live many centuries ago.
It’s a beautifully renovated property in Ragusa, within walking distance of Ragusa Ibla. It was comfortable, fantastically clean, a very attentive staff, superb breakfast. The property has a beautiful garden, a small pool and several patios to relax after a long day of walking and sightseeing. We’re looking forward to staying there again.
The property is in a fantastic location with a great view of the Giardini Iblei! The room is big and comfortable.
Giorgio is a great host, he provided us all of the information needed in advance to have the best experience in Ragusa Ibla & the surrounding areas!
This is the place where you want to be for a great stay!
A comfortable home-like studio apartment. Depending on needs, location is its biggest plus, within easy walking distance of both bus and train stations and Ragusa center. From the bus station, a transfer is possible to Ibla Ragusa. Host is personable and helpful, and prices his apartment at a very affordable rate.
Comfortable, clean room and bathroom. Check-in and checkout were smooth.
We were glad that the hotel was in the Ragusa Superiore part of town, because we travelled there by train and the walk to/from the station was much shorter and easier than it would have been if we'd been staying in Ragusa Ibla.
Excellent hotel, well-located, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Great size rooms and great bathrooms. Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. We spent 2 days/nights at the hotel and these were the best 2 nights of our 8 days in Sicily! Would thoroughly recommend.
The hotel is perfectly located and has a beautiful rooftop which also serves as breakfast place with an amazing view over Ragusa Ibla. Vincenzo was the perfect host who picked us up, recommended restaurants and served us with a great, typical breakfast! absolutely recommend!
Geographically located in the core of Ragusa Iblea, this B&B allowed us to visit the old town the best possible way. Highly recommended to those who want to visit this area of Sicily.
The staff was very kind and could suggest several tips to make our stay even more pleasant!
We had the best view of ragusa from the terrace!
The host is very helpful and the breakfast came punctually at 8am. He also gave very good suggestions of restaurants for dinner. Washing machine is also provided in case you need clean clothes for the rest of sicily journey.
Comfortable. Well supplied. Owner was more than hospitable. Location was good for anyone wanting to enjoy Ragusa ibla . Short distance to restaurants on the local plaza . Close to regional heritage sights . Nice parking close by.
The best views of Ragusa Ibla were right from our room! The property manager was incredibly helpful: moved his car so that we could park nearby, booked our dinner, made us an amazing breakfast earlier than usual.
Pool area gorgeous. Good breakfast too. Room was ok but not in the main part of the hotel. Great location in Ragusa ibla. Liked the complimentary soft drinks, water in the fridge.
The location is quite Central but still quiet at the same time. Lot of places to visit by walking around. Ragusa Ibla is around 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
Cute, intimate, and lovely updated room in historic Ragusa Ibla. Very quiet and clean private room, within walking distance to fantastic restaurants, bars and shops.
The breakfast was excellent, far better than we had come to expect from our travels round Sicily.
Wonderful views over Ragusa Ibla from a lovely terrace.
