Breakfast was good, and the location was perfect, close to the beach and the center market, the pillow in the room was not comfortable for me but the other parts were perfect.
the pool was perfect and the environment was awesome.

The room and the hotel itself was clean. The female staff at breakfast were nice and were constantly restocking the food.
not much to say as it was disappointing
5 star hotels do not do buffet breakfast. they have waiter service. They entrance to the restaurant and pool was down a dark and sparce 2 flights of stairs....no very well planed at all.The facility is 3 stars at best.

Fantastic setting overlooking the 16th hole.
Fantastic setting overlooking the 16th hole. Gorgeous resort with fabulous beach. The resort itself was quiet (we visited February half term) and the only 2 restaurants and bar open were quite expensive ( €13.50 for cocktail and €6.50 for beer, meals € 23 +). Car hire is a must as it’s a good 30 min walk to nearest supermarket. The Pingo Dolce one was very well stocked and reasonably priced. The Xenia didn’t open until Easter.
Would definitely recommend if you want a golfing trip - which we did- not so sure for family holiday as very little for children other than the beach at this time of year. Lots to visit nearby if you have transport.

Loved the different restaurants and bars.
Sandbanks was fantastic for breakfast, lunch and evening meal with views out to sea.
Bars we liked The Roof
A short walk from the resort was a fantastic restaurant called Marias, which we highly recommend.
The boardwalk was a great walk from Marias to the next village.

Very clean place with friendly locals.
Very clean place with friendly locals. Could be quite expensive (especially taxi fares - 8 euros for a trip of approximately 1 mile).
Some very exclusive restaurants but also some wonderful great value ones too! We used the same taxi driver and he was able to take us to 3 different great restaurants, all with with lovely food and not expensive at all (3 people dining, breads/olives, 1 starter, 3 main meals & sides, 3 desserts, 3 soft drinks, 2 litres of sparkling water and 1/2 litre jug of sangria = Total bill = 74 euros!!
Beach was very big and very clean with plenty of parasols on offer. Also lovely off shore breeze in the evenings - most welcome after an afternoon of around 30 degrees!

Great beaches, always beautifully clean, with plenty of good restaurants at a range of price points in the area. A car is a must in order to get around, unless you're staying at a beach-side hotel.

We spent most of the time at the pools and the beach. The pool is free with the VDL orange resident card usually E25/day, they also have free pool towels and there is an extensive menu the the pool restaurant and bar. The beach has loungers that will cost a nominal day rate with an umbrella. The beach bar is fantastic with food, icecreams and cocktails overlooking the ocean. The house is spacious, airconditioned and good size rooms with towels and rooms are cleaned every 3 days. Lots of crockery and cutlery etc. Welcome fresh bread, milk, orange juice, croissants and jams on arrival was fantastic. Bag storage at the main reception was helpful as we arrived early. There is is free shuttle around the resort door to door, and we used this to get to the grocery store on site and to the beach. All restaurants are well run, clean and with extensive menus. The Crepe Cafe at the beach is a must as is the Well restaurant if you like Sushi. Handy putt putt and kids playground with food and drinks and shady spots. Fun holiday for singles, families and retired people.
Brilliant location overlooking the sea and the 16th hole. Vale do Lobo had very few restaurants open ( Feb Half Term) and those that were were expensive. I’d say a car is a must as the nearest supermarket is too far to walk with a weeks groceries if it’s hot. But the Villa itself was lovely and spacious. The outside was in need of some new cushions for the loungers as they were all torn and not very clean. The weather was usually warm 22C so we expected the pool to have been cleaned and ready on arrival which it wasn’t.
The location of the hotel is superb right by a beautiful beach that stretches for miles that is kept to a high standard of cleanliness. There are some restaurants and bars in front of the hotel where they also have live bands most nights. The hotel breakfast service is of a very high standard with a great variety of foods on offer. The food options for lunch and dinner also offer good quality at a reasonable price.
The Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They were extremely helpful in booking dinners and transportation for our group of 8. They were always very polite and available.
The breakfast was also excellent. Great variety and the cappuccino machine was the best!
The pool was clean and refreshing.
The beach and restaurants were a shuttle ride away, provided by the hotel.
Great location just ten minutes walk to the beach and ten mins to the supermarket. Three minutes to the Vale do Lobo reception area with gym and chemist on site. Outdoor area of villa very nice and spacious with great furniture and good sized pool. Loads of space indoors with good sized kitchen and large tables both indoors and outdoors. Sky TV and Netflix also very handy.
The resort is very tidy and clean.
Easy beach access by 2-3 minutes walk from all apartments.
The apartment was modern and fitted with all facilities.
Good restaurant selection around the hotel ( you do need a car).
Mini Mart inside the resort.
Overall it's a good resort to rest and have a peaceful holiday.
Nice boutique hotel with well-appointed large rooms. Nice pool area and a good location. A great place to stay if you are the independent type who isn't looking for many bells and whistles as far as facilities go. Very straightforward and had good service overall. Comfortable and easy-going atmosphere.
The hotel is right on the beach, with sea views from all properties. It is lovely and quiet, peaceful - other than some music coming from Maria's restaurant located right outside the property! The apartments are clean, well laid out with everything you need for short or long stay.
The local staff is very, very nice and responded to issues very quickly---being able to solve several issues from one day to the next (e.g. a new refrigerator). Very quiet zone in Vale do Lobo. WIFI works very well and also very nice bathroom.
Really beautiful place, embedded inside the 3 golfs with direct access to beach. The whole resort is teddy with practical restaurants inside. Place is really made to spend calm and relaxing vacations.
The property was clean and service excellent. the room was spacious with a daily turn down service. breakfast was excellent with everything you can desire available. cannot fault the hotel.
hotel is a classic 5 star hotel in a good location rooms are good size with a balcony and full amenities and clean. There are numbers of bars and restaurant which are fine .
The location and amenities are perfect. The shuttle bus than brings you around the resort is very quick and easy. The pools, restaurants and everything around are great
The apartment had everything you would need for a self catering break. Ground floor property in a nice area, walking distance from Vale do Lobo centre.
