Estoril is a beautiful location to stay.
Estoril is a beautiful location to stay. Walking along the promenade towards Caiscais was wonderful and we got to experience the sea in many different moods, calm, stormy and just blue waves most days. It is so easy to get the train to Lisbon from here, just get a Navigante Occasionale card. We also used a very reasonably priced Uber to go to Sintra, which was stunning, a must-see. We had some amazing food, you need to try Manjar da Vila in Caiscais, very authentic Portuguese cuisine.

We came for a wedding, but have always stayed in Algarve, we visited friends who had a villa near sintra, we visted Cascias (drove around) and see a small bit of Estoril.
Having seen many wonderfull looking places just while driving about wished we had stayed in this area longer to visit and see more.
So intend to re-visit and see it all properly

We only stayed one night in Estoril.
We only stayed one night in Estoril. We spent the afternoon in Cascais which is really pretty and there was lots to do. If I had the choice again, I’d stay in Cascais. The casino is a big focal point in Estoril. We had dinner at Jackpot restaurant next to the casino which was very nice and the staff were really friendly.
Totally beyond my expectation in Estoril, especially when it's compared to my stay in Lisbon a few days ago. Everything is clean and tidy, great shower system, a little bar with capsule coffee machine and refrigerator. Oh and a huge balcony with sofa and sea view too. Cannot believe it. The breakfast is extraordinary as well, with different kinds of breads, ham, cheese and diy yogurt. Staffs are all very kind and helpful. I would choose to stay here again if I'm coming to Lisbon in the future.
The location. Close enough to Cascais to walk there and only 4 Euro return on the train to Lisbon.
Staff did their best to make yopu feel welcome and support you in your needs, but cannot magically make the musk smell go away. The smell is seemingly hidden with another stronger smelling cleaning agaent.
Towels were clean an functional, but by no means fluffy.
Free parking in street next to hotel - limited to 5 reserved spaces and 10 public first in best dressed for free.
the place is perfect! I mean - it is close to the train station (3 min walking) and it's easy to catch train to Lisbon (25 min ride), it is close to the public beach (5 min walking), it is close to the bus station where you can take the bus to Sintra, it is 30 min walking by the coastal promenada to the Cascais. the hotel has very comfortable beds, hot water and good water running, it is clean. it has elevators if you need some after daytrip to Lisbon ;)
- Exceptionally clean & well maintained.
- The pool area was quiet and music free, the other guests were very respectful which led to a very tranquil experience.
- drinks at the bar on the terrace were a great bonus.
- staff were incredibly helpful, polite and friendly.
- for a 5 star hotel, the experince was pleasantly unpretentious and thankfully wasn't stuffy like some 5 star hotels can be.
I'd highly recommend staying here.
- Location for what we were looking for was great. Very close to Cascais and not far from the center of Lisbon by car;
- Plenty of parking spaces on the street in front of the property;
- Great lounge area;
- Good Wifi signal;
- Great sea view;
- Very clean;
- Great bathroom and shower;
- Great system of access. All through digital codes. No need any intervention from the owner.
1. Great stuff, all were helpful if any requests and smiling which make our stay enjoyable.
2. good location: relatively close to ocean and train station: 10 min walk, close to Cascais 30 min by walk or 5 min by train), train to Lisbon just 30 min and goes every 10-15 min.
this is a nice hotel in estoril! very calm and serene environment, and very friendly staff. pictures are accurate. close to the beach and easy to reach sintra as well. had what we needed but not much else, it is truly a “hotel only”. we really enjoyed our time here!
The pools both indoor and outdoor the breakfast. The staff was lovely the kitchenette in the room, the lovely little village around the hotel. It was amazing and the views can’t be beat.
The hotel is located across the street from the beach and promenade. Several restaurants located within walking distance. Pool area is nice but not enough lounge chairs for guests.
