The staff was excellent, very accommodating, pleasant, respectful, and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. The hotel was in walking distance to the most popular attractions and sites in Belém. Housekeeping was thorough, and very efficient in their cleaning, the restaurant was excellent, and I would most definitely recommend this hotel (10 out of 10) for your future travels to Portugal. You won't be disappointed!!

The breakfast was lovely either indoors or outdoors. Currently, you have unlimited choice off the menu and they are happy to bring you whatever you like. The grounds and endless views of the Tagus River are amazing as is the natural setting. We didn't have a chance to swim in the pool however it looked inviting. We left early in the morning and, upon request, they made sure we had some food to take with us in place of the morning breakfast. The staff went out of their way to help including Pedro and Carolina.

We spent three night at the York House and we absolutely loved our stay! The staff was welcoming and very accommodating. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again and recommend to other travelers!

We were happy to have the ocean facing patio and to hear the waves at night. Nice location across the street Fruin the beach, plenty of restaurants to choose from both at y the hotel and within walking distance. The on site spa was a pleasant surprise.
