It’s like a trendy surf hotel, great location, wonderful staff, so helpful. We are older active travellers and we very much enjoyed our stay at the WOT Peniche. Pool table, ping pong table communal kitchen and lounge space.
At first sight i couldn’t see the beauty of Peniche.
At first sight i couldn’t see the beauty of Peniche. But once I settled in and explored the beach and surrounding area it became clear it’s a beautiful place.
The beach is stunning, you have the choice of mingling with the locals or having so much space to chill.
The beach cafes were excellent and so well priced.
With so many restaurants to chose from, the seafood is delicious and again well priced. Simple food but made very well.
The Portuguese people are very welcoming and friendly.
A place I will visit again.

Friendly people lots to do but not marked on google maps so you have to explore alot of it yourself. The chapels are well worth a visit especially one of them that's at the far left of the peninsula. A monk was found in a cave there and they built a stunning chapel for him.

Peniche is a nice sea site town to visit. You can get fresh fish out of the fishermanˆs truck. We had a wonderful octopus in a restaurant by the Forte da Praia da Consolacao. Next time we will stay longer.

Some gorgeous beaches in Peniche and the surrounding area.
Some gorgeous beaches in Peniche and the surrounding area. We took some surf lessons which was great fun and the location for them is perfect. It's not a very bustling area, so if you're after a lot of atmosphere might not be the place for you.

Peniche is the right choice, if you appreciate closeness to the nature, ocean views, roar of the Atlantic, trekking along the coastal paths and don't mind an occasional shower of rain. It is also close to Lissabon, with a working bus connection. Small calm town, perfect hideaway for a peaceful break and a relaxing holiday.
Everything is absolutely perfect and a lot more than I expected from a bed & breakfast, the staff is impeccable and friendly, the place has a vintage decoration that is cosy and it feels like you are at home, the rooms are comfortable and spacious and you have all the details of a 5 stars hotel, don't even think about staying for a night in Peniche without staying here.
This was our second stay and it was even better than we remembered. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was fantastic. We enjoyed having access to the hot tub again too. Honestly one of our favourite places to stay in Portugal (we live in Lisbon). The Peniche coastline and Baleal beach are gorgeous.
It's a great hotel right center of Peniche. Nice restaurants around and Marina de Peniche within walking distance where we took boat to Berlengas. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was so delicious with several food options. Overall we enjoyed every bit of our stay in this Hotel and definitely will come back. Thank you!
Everything about the guesthouse was wonderful. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The hosts were amazing, welcoming and informative. The morning baked surprises were a nice touch. The town of Peniche is a lovely escape from Lisbon. The fact that it just happens to be a surfers paradise is a bonus.
Good value for the price, but it is kind of a weird setting almost a health clinic feel more than a hotel. The pool looked nice and the setting around it too. the staff was nice as well. The restaurant served a set menu that was pretty simple but good. Nothing fancy but like I said, good value for the price.
Strongly recommend this place! Clean room and very comfortable bed. The room is ideally equipped to feel the spirit of Portugal. Great location to see Peniche and Atlantic ocean in all its beauty. Quiet place. Nice owner, friendly atmosphere. We felt as at home. We will definitely come back here :)
The location was centric and you get a nice walk to the restaurants area. There was a fair which was also nice.
The common area is big and there is a lot of space and amenities like ping pong table, pool table, among other things.
You can rent bicycles and explore Peniche comfortably.
Great hotel at a good price including a rich breakfast, free parking in front of the door, 200 walk to the wide sandy beach with dunes, attentive reception staff, very large rooms with balcony and view, free mineral water and delicious Portuguese cookies, I'll be happy to come back
Amazing location just a short walk from the cliffs and ocean. Spectacular views from the roof. And one of the best free hotel breakfasts I’ve had with plenty of fresh fruit, cold cuts, and cheese, in addition to a wide selection of breads and baked goods and the usual buffet fair.
The B & B was lovely and the staff was great. I liked that we were able to rent bikes from the B & B. The breakfast was great. The only comment I had was that the room lacked air conditioning and it was rather muggy. Other than that great place to stay in Peniche!
Right in the centre of Peniche, close to all the restaurants and near the beaches. The property itself is a little family owned hotel very well put together and very clean. Breakfast was delicious!
Very nice accommodation in an original, desolate location - at the tip of the Peniche peninsula. Very quaint. But note that you need to have a car and be prepared for an ocean mist in the morning.
Portugals greatest surf hostel
Louis (or Luis) is the greatest hostel host you can imagine. This hostel is at least worth visiting for a meeting with him and his wife.
Nice surfspots included.
