Loved the area, was close to go to Sintra for a day of exploring. That was a magical place. Loved the shopping, the beach, the food. Gorgeous view of the beach. It was warm and lovely in April. We used taxi to get around and it was very reasonable rates.

Estoril is a beautiful location to stay.
Estoril is a beautiful location to stay. Walking along the promenade towards Caiscais was wonderful and we got to experience the sea in many different moods, calm, stormy and just blue waves most days. It is so easy to get the train to Lisbon from here, just get a Navigante Occasionale card. We also used a very reasonably priced Uber to go to Sintra, which was stunning, a must-see. We had some amazing food, you need to try Manjar da Vila in Caiscais, very authentic Portuguese cuisine.

We came for a wedding, but have always stayed in Algarve, we visited friends who had a villa near sintra, we visted Cascias (drove around) and see a small bit of Estoril.
Having seen many wonderfull looking places just while driving about wished we had stayed in this area longer to visit and see more.
So intend to re-visit and see it all properly
The hotel was central to both Cascais and Estoril and the views from the hotel balcony were amazing. We had a room on the 8th floor so the noise from the road did not disturb us at all. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large. People state the rooms are dated which is true but everything is in working order so did not bother us at all. We also used the fridge every day and the cooking facilities a few times and they all worked perfectly. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. I would have no hesitation in visiting again
the place is perfect! I mean - it is close to the train station (3 min walking) and it's easy to catch train to Lisbon (25 min ride), it is close to the public beach (5 min walking), it is close to the bus station where you can take the bus to Sintra, it is 30 min walking by the coastal promenada to the Cascais. the hotel has very comfortable beds, hot water and good water running, it is clean. it has elevators if you need some after daytrip to Lisbon ;)
We came to attend a wedding that is within walking distance from the place. The property is even better in person than in the pictures. The beach is right around the corner, which wasn't too crowded this time of year (beginning of spring) and it was beautiful. The train is nearby which we took to visit Cascais and Lisbon. We truly experienced what life would be like living there and would stay there again!
The rooms have charme and I liked very much the interior. I was upgraded into a suite with a great balcony and view.
The hotel is nicely located and I have enjoyed breakfast every day. You can order fresh mad eggs but also the buffet and the fruits has a very nice and comprehensive arrangement
Smart Hotel is a beautiful hotel situated in a lovely part of Estoril. The blue and white traditional Portuguese decor is exquisite and the pool was a delight to swim in.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and the laundered sheets smelt wonderful!
Good free parking facilities too!
Great location and the staff went above and beyond. Everyone was so helpful and took pride in their work. Easy walk to beaches, train station and to the outdoor market in Estoril (not to be missed!). Very clean rooms and breakfast was always a good start to the day.
The restaurant is delicious and the staff is friendly and professional. I loved the rooms, it has everything you needed and is spacious. The pool is beautiful and a quiet place to relax. The hotel is nearby many restaurants going by car.
Great location for exploring Estoril, Cascais, and in easy reach of Sintra by local bus and Lisbon by train. Then for the days relaxing in the sun and swimming in the sea, a 10 minute walk to the beach.
Practical, with free parking, good location between Lisbon and Cascais.
Pedro was the most helpful host.
Not only you have a decent stay but in the same time you are helping the kids program.
The location was key - close to our family in Estoril, as well as to the train for when we wanted to go to Lisbon. We also appreciated the space and the amenities - air/heat, laundry, etc.
The location is perfect for Estoril and you can even walk to Cascais. The room was big, really clean. We loved the breakfast options and all the staff was nice and helpful.
