The property was close to BTS station, a lot of restaurants around, massage places and 7/11 shop. There is excellent mall next door which is directly connected to BTS station. The rooftop restaurant of the hotel is one of the best. The swimming pools and the gym facilities are classified as excellent.

FAQs about hotels in Bangkok

Something for Everyone in Bangkok

Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.

Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighborhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.

To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?

From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the center of town, Booking.com will help you explore all that Bangkok has to offer.

Bangkok is a massive city that is almost too big and overwhelming. (I'm a native New Yorker). There are a couple of great landmarks and tourist spots worth seeing once. (Grand Palace and Wat Pho). Some are worth a second visit. (Wat Arun). Taking the ferry up and down the Chao Phraya river is fun. Chinatown is cool and has great food. There are killer cocktail bars all over the city but a few on one block near Chinatown. Two days is enough. If your planning a trip to Thailand it worth seeing but not worth basing a vacation around. However, the cocktail bars themselves are enough to get me to come back when I return to Thailand.

Very busy city, great to see for a few days, but becomes a bit much after a while, plenty of things to see and do from multiple temples to cabaret shows. Muay Thai or what ever else you like. Get the ferry's down the river, a good way to travel, and see the sights (yellow or orange flags are cheaper, as they are used by the locals and more fun) public train system or motor bike are the best way to travel around the city and cheaper and quicker. The traffic between 4pm and 8pm every night is terrible and can take 1hr or more in a taxi or Tuk Tuk to travel 5 to 6KS across the city, after these hrs the time is halved. Food is excellent there plenty of Indian and Asian delicacies at the restaurants, street food at the markets (tasty, cheaper) try the Mango rice for desserts. Find a 7 eleven that sells pre packed toasted sandwiches and other re-heatable foods, and they will heat up for you at no extra cost, handy when you just want a quick meal, they do good iced coffee as well. The locals were very friendly and don't hassle you to much, if you say No a few times they just smile and go away, do barter with the street stalls and Tuk Tuk they will expect it so generally give you a high price first.

A fantastic destination for food, shopping, and some enjoyable bar hopping. While traffic has always been an issue and buses often emit black smoke, that’s part of the charm of traveling embracing the culture, connecting with friendly locals, and cherishing each unique experience.

Bangkok was great, there was so much to see and do which was why we stayed a week in Bangkok before moving on to other areas in Thailand-Personally I would have preferred 5 days as I am not really a city person, however we were travelling with teenagers and they really enjoyed the city.

Bangkok is an awesome crazy city and we loved exploring it with our kids who are 8,8 and 4. The people of Thailand are so friendly and loved our children. We are from the forest in the UK but loved navigating Bangkok and experiencing the crazy fast pace life, always felt safe, public transport (BTS line) was always so clean, fast and very good value for money. We used it multiple times a day to get around.

Restaurants rooftop bars and street food depending on our mood. Palaces, temples, boat cruises or massages. Shopping high end or Chinatown and weekend markets. Great variety of things to do and see depending on your choice! Easy to get around by train and inner city by tuk tuk- take a GRAB to arrive as you left.

The staff were warm, attentive & efficient. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. For the price we paid for 7 days, it was value for money 50% savings as compared to other classier hotels. We stayed on the 20th floor. On the morning before check out, we were asked what time our flight was the next day. As it turns out, we were given foresight by the hotel staff to pre-book for transport as it was an early flight and necessary to secure in advance to avoid last minute stress, as Bangkok has heavy traffic.

Even though we like trying different hotels when in Bangkok, we had stayed here before: it's a 5 minute walk from Phayathai Station (connected to the Airport Link, so you can get there from Suvarnabhumi airport in roughly 35 minutes), which means you can get around the city easily. Also, it's located near Ratchathewi, meaning you'll have plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around if you don't mind walking for 10 minutes. As for the hotel itself: rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly.

Such an amazing find! I understand why this place gets booked out so quickly. Beautiful staff that could not possibly be more helpful, even booked my coach/ferry to Koh Samui and booked an appointment at immigration office for me. Location is perfect, AMAZING Thai restaurant only a few minutes walk away (Kao Tom Thewet) and although the hotel is close/easy access to everything it is also incredibly quiet and peaceful. I would never chose to stay anywhere else in Bangkok now.
