Wonderful part of NM but you have to watch the neighborhoods...
Wonderful part of NM but you have to watch the neighborhoods you go to in the city itself. It is a wonderful home base for traveling around northern NM as it is less expensive than Santa Fe. Great restaurants like El Patron and Flying Star and don't miss Old Town or the BioPark. Its nice East/West street orientation makes is easy to get around and both 40 and 25 are good roads.

Not beautifully restored. Where the cars would have been parked there is a pool and outdoor seating area for food from the various take out restaurants on site. There's also a bar. Right off Route 66 (Central Ave.) near Old Town Albuquerque. Rooms are completely modern. The suites even occupy what used to be the adjacent garages.
