Perfect location tucked away from the main road and yet just minutes from the beach. Room was exceptional with a view that took your breath away. The staff was very friendly and helpful in any way we needed. I am already excited about staying there again.

The location was very convenient — however the space was extremely outdated. The photos were deceiving, although there were two buildings and maybe one has been updated? We were given minimal pillows and towels and the tub and toilet were so loud we could hear the neighbors.
Good location for the price but definitely a budget hotel.

The breakfast included was pretty good and the location was mostly far enough from the bars that it wasn't too loud at night. The room was spacious.

Breakfasts were delicious. Having breakfast in the courtyard was especially nice. Staff are friendly and competent.
The island is beautiful and designed for relaxation.
The island is beautiful and designed for relaxation. We did not golf but it is big there. There are many rules on the island which my friend did not like and she thought the people were uppity. We only had bikes and you really do need a car to get groceries and in case of rain. You will get stuck there without transportation. Also since we did not have a car, I did not print the pass that was sent to us by our Airbnb host. We took a Lyft to Kiawah and had to pay a $20 entrance fee to the island. Had we taken an Uber or printed out the car pass, we could have avoided this fee. We were not told about that. Overall, I would go again and be better prepared the next time.

Such a beautiful place. Quiet and safe.
Such a beautiful place. Quiet and safe. The parks are nice and just strolling through the island is wonderful. We enjoyed the beach and going for ice-cream treats. Having a grocery store on Kiawah was super helpful.

A friend called Kiawah Island, a constructed paradise, and it is. It's a beautiful location, with verdant golf courses, roads lined with mature trees that provide an emerald canopy, and sand finer than sugar.

The beach was fantastic!
The beach was fantastic! This place is just a very short walk to the beach and no beach pass was necessary, nor was there a fee to go to the beach.
It is near a small village called Fresh Fields, which was where we ate most of our meals, because any other restaurants were far away. But there was enough variety for the three days and nights we were there. Folly Beach was fun, too, with plenty of restaurants, and a walk to the lighthouse is a must. Gorgeous beaches there, too. Three to four nights is perfect. You need a car to get around.

Beautiful place!
Beautiful place! A unique experience, being a gated, planned community with no commercial development on the island itself. A very quiet, peaceful place with lots of vegetation, great network of bike trails and beautiful beaches. You can bike on the beach which is fun, and there is almost no traffic. Shopping center just 10 minutes from the front gate with everything you need and more. Very clean and well-kept place, we spent 3 days there and I didn't see any trash on the trails or beaches. It does have a "country club" feel which took getting used to but overall we enjoyed it quite a bit.

Need to have more restaurants.
Need to have more restaurants. Restaurants that are there are over-priced. Need competition. I don't mind spending money when the food and service was good, but we often walked away feeling disappointed with both.
Good location on the island, quiet, close to the beach , clean all cooking utensils provided nice king bed and Comcast tv, young deer family visited every night, restaurants available could ride bicycles on paths and washing /dryer in unit back screened balcony overlooked tennis area...
The location was good. Easy access to the beach #5 and easy to get on and off the island. The kitchen island was large and easy for eating etc. The appliances were new and great to have 2 refrigerators. The view of the golf course and marsh was nice. The beds were comfortable.
We liked the spaciousness, the location in relation to where we had to be for the Kiawah Island triathlon, the kitchen is usable and has all the right utensils, we used the porch a lot, and the brand new owner was very responsive when we called with an internet issue.
This property was clean and spacious, had everything we needed, plus great views and a short walk to the beach. We’ve been to Kiawah several times, but this property was by far our favorite.
Rooms were excellent on space. Location was prime. We had an issue with a malfunctioning outlet and it was addressed the same day! Felt very secure and comfortable.
