Located in Kiawah Island, 4270 Mariner's Watch Villa has self-catering accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The air-conditioned property is 11 miles from Edisto Island. The location was exceptional for access to the Ocean Course for our golf tournament. The fact that it was pet friendly was a big factor as our puppy loved the screened in porch.
Located in Kiawah Island, 4250 Mariner's Watch Villa provides self-catering accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The air-conditioned property is 11 miles from Edisto Island. The location was great and close to the beach. The property was well maintained. The unit itself was the perfect size for a couple and beautiful as well.
Offering free WiFi and lake views, 1419 Courtside is a property located in Kiawah Island. The air-conditioned property is 10 miles from Edisto Island. Villa was dirty. Unwashed dishes, only surface clean, very dusty lampshades and dirty behind doors. Found a few bugs. Furniture uncomfortable. Nicely laid out cooking / family area. A/C stopped working and needed tech to fix.
The beach was fantastic! This place is just a very short walk to the beach and no beach pass was necessary, nor was there a fee to go to the beach. It is near a small village called Fresh Fields, which was where we ate most of our meals, because any other restaurants were far away. But there was enough variety for the three days and nights we were there. Folly Beach was fun, too, with plenty of restaurants, and a walk to the lighthouse is a must. Gorgeous beaches there, too. Three to four nights is perfect. You need a car to get around.
Beautiful place! A unique experience, being a gated, planned community with no commercial development on the island itself. A very quiet, peaceful place with lots of vegetation, great network of bike trails and beautiful beaches. You can bike on the beach which is fun, and there is almost no traffic. Shopping center just 10 minutes from the front gate with everything you need and more. Very clean and well-kept place, we spent 3 days there and I didn't see any trash on the trails or beaches. It does have a "country club" feel which took getting used to but overall we enjoyed it quite a bit.
Need to have more restaurants. Restaurants that are there are over-priced. Need competition. I don't mind spending money when the food and service was good, but we often walked away feeling disappointed with both.
It was quiet and out of the way - but a little too out of the way. Aside from the Village, the nearest shopping and restaurants were over a half hour away, no matter where you went. The beach was very clean, not crowded, and there were plenty of seashells to collect intact, rather than having them crunched up early in the morning.
Kiawah is a beautiful tropical place. Happy families everywhere & folks are very polite - Southern style! We've been going there since late 70's & so many changes, mostly good & they have preserved the natural ambiance pretty well. Watching dolphins feed in the evening near end of Beachwalker Pk, & a 4-hr fishing trip from Mingo Point were highlights.
This was our first visit, however not the last. The village was a great host with it's shopping, restaurants and sitting areas. we were able to catch a movie one night and a great concert another. Cantina 76 was amazing!!!! The public beach was nice and clean when we toured it. We also enjoyed the views of the golf courses and beautiful trees. Two turtles nests were near us which was a grand highlight. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful location near Freshfields Village. Loved the decor, amenities, & the salt water pool. There are different events each day.. we enjoyed the movie on the lawn on Wednesday & listening to jazz on Thursday night at Andell Inn. All around great customer service and experience!!
Rooms were excellent on space. Location was prime. We had an issue with a malfunctioning outlet and it was addressed the same day! Felt very secure and comfortable.
Location was on Kiawah Island so that is easy to like. Unit was an easy walk to the beach. Bed was OK. Lots of cutlery.
