Staff is friendly. The room was nice. We did not use the kids program, but the program was really good. Had we had more time there, we would have used it. The kids room/game room was impressive. The take your own lunch offering was good. The area nearby was quiet but had plenty of food markets and restaurants. The hotel was clean and nice looking with relatively inexpensive onsite parking. The room was great with really nice pillows.

FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully, the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale facade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city center after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

Beautiful city, but clearly has an issue with over tourism. The service in most places was dreadful, rude, and quite unwelcoming to foreigners. We were shouted at several times over very silly things.

This is a wonderful historic city - The castle, the river, the neighborhoods and museums, the food, the people, the history, the art, the writers - so much to experience, to learn, to enjoy! And a simple, no frills, but very clean and nice and comfortable metro transportation system covers it very effectively! I would really recommend Prague - and also, if you have time, trips to the so many beautiful places and cities around: From Moravia to Bratislava, Brno, Budapest, Krakow... And much more!

The hotel is in the center of Prague and you have to find parking for yourself, paid one. The thing that i didn t like it at all was the missing of the airco... while outside were like 40 degrees and in our room was no air co so we had to open the windows in the middle of the night for a bit of fresh air but then we could here a lot of noise from the trams that they are very close to the hotel and the noise of the people walking... Further was ok. Next to the hotel we found an amazing indian restaurant with amazing food and live show of making naan bread, that was a very interesting and tastefull experience. In the morning before we went on our path we discovered again a very closed italian bakery were we had a very delicious breakfast. Prague is amazing and it s worth to stay for more days.

    Liked everything! Prague is charming.

Liked everything! Prague is charming. It's the first time when I fell in love with a major European city instantly. I have never experienced such a click with any other capital. The only thing that made me sad is the ugly graffiti on the lower levels of some beautiful, very well maintained Prague buildings. I hope the the local authorities will take care of the vandals who do this.

A short tram ride from the main train station, right in the heart of the central tourist area. Surrounded by great shops and restaurants. An easy walk to both Wenceslas Square and the Old Town Square. A very friendly and helpful front desk. A very good breakfast buffet with lots of options. The room was large and the bathroom looked recently updated. This particular room was not in the main hotel, but out in a separate building with one other guest room. It turned out to be an ideal and very quiet location.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Assenzio in Prague! While the room was a little smaller than we expected, it was still perfectly comfortable for a family of two. The beds were fantastic — so cozy and supportive — and the room itself was spotless, warm, and very inviting. We especially appreciated how central the location was, with easy access to public transport that quickly takes you to Old Town Square and the city centre. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay. We would definitely recommend it!

I really enjoyed my 3-night stay here. My room was a good size 'single', more like a double, bed was comfy and there was a bath with a shower. The bath was a luxury! The hotel is well located, a short walk to the Old Town Square, and 15 minutes to the Charles Bridge. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good, a good selection of cereal, hot dishes and breads and rolls. Lots of places to eat nearby. Would totally recommend Betlam Club Hotel as a place to stay.

Rooms were nice and clean though a bit small in size. Its more of a no frills hotel and doesn't have all the different facilities. Its walkable (~1.2 kms) from the Old Town Square and around. We have trams and trains nearby too. Breakfast is not extensive, but has a good spread.
