Lovely town on the North Coast to base yourself for all the excursions around. Fantastic beaches and plenty of good food places. Weather can change at a moments notice with sun, rain and the wrath of the Atlantic all in a day, come prepared. If you golf there are excellent golf courses.

As long as weather is good there is no better place to be than at Portrush. The beaches the food the pubs all great and the people always make you welcome.
General shopping would be limited however, but in reality when you go to portrush your not really wanting to shop.

I scheduled in Portrush because of a visit to Giants Causeway. I was pleasantly surprised with the city. It is a very clean upscale beach town. My only regret is not realizing The Harbour bar was also a restaurant. We did end up eating in a more trendy "European" restaurant and did not discover Harbour Bar until after dinner. As a traveler from the US, I would have preferred the old friendly feeling to The Harbour Bar and wish it popped up in a search for restaurants on Google.

A familu friendly place and very welcoming. Plenty to do, with the beach, currys amusements and shops and cafes. The Jet centre and the giants causeway was a short drive and portstewart close by. Lovely place.

Portrush is a very busy wee town.
Portrush is a very busy wee town. It is especially good for families with plenty for all ages to do. 2 lovely beaches, a fair ground and lots of large gaming places. Our favourite place is the Arcadia café.
Our hotel is situated nearer to Portrush, however, we liked the relative quietness of Portstewart.
So, Portrush is great for families and not quite so good for over 60s.

Nice place to stay because there is railway station. Moreover it is very close to all main attractions in Northern Ireland ( Beach near Downhill, Giants Caseway, Dunluce Castle, Carrick -a- Rede, etc. ) So the location is very convenient for travelling.
We had nice walk along the beach ( very wide an d clean ). And we had delicious dinner near the sea side restaurant.

Excellent location, just a few steps away from the Ramore restaurants/bars. Beautiful modern surroundings and very tastefully decorated with lovely secluded back garden. Parking at the door was another plus.
We loved the layout of our room (room 2 on top floor) large, spacious room with splendid views over Portrush harbour, beach and the Donegal mountains in the distance. Large comfortable bed, with a fridge and tea/coffee facility. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, thankyou Karen!
The hotel is located overlooking the waterfront. The staff was awesome. We met the owner who was very gracious and welcoming. The hotel recently opened and is very nicely decorated. Our room was really nice and comfortable, especially the bedding/bed. There is a great gathering space in the back of the hotel and very nice bar and restaurant on the main floor and our breakfast was delicious! Definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Portrush, the hotel is clean, tidy, well maintained with good facilities. It feels like you are stopping at home - Good range of traditional English breakfast, fresh and cooked perfectly to order
Gary (the owner) and Kate were so friendly and helpful - Could not have helped more and made everything easy. Two of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Everything!! Exceptionally clean, amazing facilties. This was a last minute booking for my husband and I and our first away from our 5 year old son. All Seasons exceeded expectations. As a family, at the beginning of April we actually stayed 3 days in a hotel in Portrush and compared to All Seasons, it was a hovel!!!
Kieran was a very pleasant host
The property is very close to the centre of portrush. The guesthouse was quiet and clean, which is just what we wanted.
Due to COVID-19, they hadn’t been offering breakfast. However, they were offering breakfast at the nearby Quays Hotel, which was both a surprise and a lovely breakfast.
The room was clean and warm as was the hotel throughout, the views are amazing and the location is excellent being just out of Portrush town away from the rustle and bustle and yet only a stones throw to the spectacular beach. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
We always book the Atlantic when staying in Portrush,it’s not the Ritz but is really comfortable, the staff are so friendly and helpful, breakfast is excellent, I have stayed in other hotels in Portrush but the Atlantic is my favourite
Loved everything! Such a cute hotel. From the booking.com photos it looked small but the rooms and decently sized. The interiors are so so cute! And the breakfast was amazing, so were the hosts/ staff. 11/10 I would say :)
The people were great. Friendly, helpful staff in a very comfortable, bordering on luxurious surround, what was not to like. The room was extremely comfortable and beyond clean. I love everything about this hotel.
Lovely house in a residential area of Portrush. we walked to a fun seaside restaurant for dinner. very welcoming host, beautiful room, great breakfast. Very professionally done, yet still the charm of a B and B.
Couldn’t fault the hotel on anything, staff were extremely friendly, ideal location in the centre of Portrush.Breakfast was fabulous and the hotel and room was spotless. we will definitely be back!
Gill is an excellent host - friendly and extremely welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Portview is very tastefully decorated with lovely views over Portrush. A super place to stay!
Good location 15 to 20 minutes walk into Portrush. Lots to do at hotel for families. Shrek the musical was on when we were there! Staff are love and friendly.
Breakfast lovely.
Tim and his wife were welcoming, friendly, kind and very ready to share tips and things do do in the area. One of our favorite places to stay while we where in Ireland.
