I have been visiting Skegness since I was a little boy 👦 and now at 70 years young I still get the buzz, there's something about the place that keeps me coming back and my family feel the same. Good old British seaside holiday, reccommended if that's what you like, plenty of amusements, bingo, pubs, shops, The seaside open topped buses are £3 a ride or £6 all day hop on and off and play music, fun for kids as all different names and decorated to theme. Seal sanctuary has penguins, alpacas, reptile house, butterfly house etc and there's a good animal farm a bus ride away with animal petting ,tractor rides and lovely cafe about £14 entry and a free farm museum they ask for donations with interesting bits to look at the other side of skeggy with tea rooms and lovely helpful staff. Lots of rides, ice cream and chips on the seafront Nice and clean gardens, more of a small park for relaxing or kick about with the tots and pic-nic . Used to be dirt cheap but gone up now and I've gone abroad for cheaper but all in all , a really fun time and friendly place. Heron Foods, the cheapo supermarket great for food, snacks and drinks and there's also Lidl, Morrisons and Wetherspoons if self catering.Guest review byLINDAUnited Kingdom
