The location was great. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel checkout was 11:00AM but we got to stay a bit longer to pack our stuff which seems a good point to me.

Our room was on the 30th floor. You need two elevators to get on this floor. The room was ok but nowhere to put luggage. Bathroom is so small. You have to lay everything on the floor. The valet parking was $93. Outrageous. The ihop restaurant is outrageously overpriced and not clean. Run but people that could not care less. Mentioned this when we checked out as the restaurant is within the hotel and staff were indifferent. Will not be back and don’t recommend. We paid $319 for this room.

FAQs about hotels in Niagara Falls

The Power of Nature

Featuring the best views of the awesome waterfall sharing its name, Canada’s Niagara Falls is a small city promising more than just a stunning insight into the power of nature.

By day, view the falls from the riverfront promenade, or for an up-close-and-personal experience, the Hornblower Niagara Cruise takes you right into the swell. Rain ponchos are provided. Alternatively, there’s the Journey Behind the Falls – a walk through the rock behind Niagara. Handy portholes help you experience the thundering water.

Slightly downstream are the American Falls, less well-known and less impressive, but worth a look. At night, both falls get illuminated by colored lights – an incredible sight. Further downstream is the Rainbow Bridge which you can walk across to get an American stamp in your passport. Just check your visa requirements first.

The city itself has 7 golf courses, with one right by the river – be careful with your swing! Other Niagara Falls attractions include casinos, movie theaters and Marineland Canada, featuring the world's largest whale habitat for viewing orcas both above and below ground.

Unless you fly into Niagara Falls Airport on the US side, you’ll probably arrive by car. So check out the hotels, apartments, motels and more on Booking.com with easy parking options.

The spectacle of the falls was a great experience, going on the boat near the falls was so funny and wet! The nightly fireworks was fun to watch, if you go here you must visit Niagara on the falls, its a beautiful area with lovely wineries and a quaint little shopping area with artisan shops, much better for souvenirs than the downtown area, which for me it was too commercial with silly shops full of rubbish events, I guess designed for families with young children certainly wouldn't be a cheap visit!

Really awesome to see the Falls and the surrounding area.

Really awesome to see the Falls and the surrounding area. The Canadian side was nice as we were able to do the Power House night tour. Cool LED lights and projected videos in the space made for a great experience. Also the Tunnel down to the base of the falls is really worth the price of admission to the Power House tour. We did the City Boat tour that brings you to the bottom of the Falls on the next day and my kids and I both enjoyed it. It is a smooth operation and a really cool experience. The city was nice with lots of things to do. However, everything seems to be pretty expensive including activities, parking, and food. The views are free and pretty amazing. They have lots of great walking paths along the river and falls area where you can see plenty without spending more than just parking.

A boat ride at Niagara Falls is an absolute must for any visitor, offering an unforgettable way to experience the sheer power and beauty of the falls up close. The journey takes you right into the mist and roar of the cascading waters, with the highlight being the thunderous curtain of water at the “Journey Behind the Falls,” where you can truly feel the raw force and majesty of this natural wonder.

This was my third visit to Niagara Falls and I absolutely love it! There are so many things to see and do. Yes, its a legit tourist trap, particularly Clifton Hill but the beauty outweighs this. Stunning. Just stunning.

its more of a location for a day trip then a longer stay. perhaps one evening would be enough. It's very seaside town with theme parks, lots of bars and souvineer shops, but little to do outside of the big tourist attractions.

No-one can argue that the falls are anything but spectacular but the surrounding area has become stuffed with tacky tourist attractions of the sort I am used to at downmarket seaside resorts. The nightly 5-minute firework display was a surprise and the falls at night are illuminated. We enjoyed the zipline (paid extra to skip the queue), the skywheel (decently priced compared with other local attractions), and the Power Station by Night. We were staying about 15 minutes drive away from the central area and would recommend the Stacked pancake house franchise for filling brunch options; the Clifton Hill Family Restaurant was also better than expected for kid-friendly food. I had been to the American side of the falls many years ago and had not expected the Canadian side to be so busy; it was really full of tourists, many of whom had probably arrived on bus tours over the weekend as the volume dropped off substantially on the Monday. Were I to go again, which I doubt having been to both sides now, I would probably stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake (pretty, good boutique shops, small beach, golf course, an Irish pub etc) and spend just one long day at the falls then dedicate more time to the local wineries and cider producers.

On our 9 day business trip in the USA and Canada we spent 2 nights at Butterfly Manor. A real contrast to the rather impersonal big hotels. A lovingly decorated room that lacked nothing, a great breakfast and a super nice landlord. Thank you for your hospitality Ted. We felt very comfortable.
