There was nothing to fault with this hotel. The grounds were large and well kept, the bedrooms were large and very clean. The bathroom was much bigger than the average hotel bathroom with quality fittings. Even the towels were white and fluffy! The breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay.

A good hotel with giant free parking and great breakfast. Rooms are spacious and well managed. Staff is polite and well educated on providing the correct level of services.

The Hotel is set in extensive grounds which are quiet and peaceful. It has been extended to the rear of the original Hall with two- storey wings of bedrooms and conference suites.
As an elderly person with mobility difficulties l reserved a suitable ground floor room and was very pleased that it met my requirements. However, the walking distance between the room and the dining room, reception and carpark was a bit of a challenge
and could not have been further!

Hotel looks lovely and everything seems nice.
Hotel looks lovely and everything seems nice. However, we ordered food in the bar and five out of the six meals were inedible. Food was awful so very hungry children. Ordered some desserts, kids ice cream was fine (£2 each). Full order of ice cream (£6!!!) came out smaller than the kids one. Took ages waiting for someone to finally. Come and address the problems. We did have the meals refunded but with no shop or vending machines near by we are all going to bed hungry.
Rooms……. Nice and clean and spacious however, no soundproofing at all. Someone down the corridor was playing really loud music all evening, as if to compete, another room tv was so loud we could hear it 6 doors down. And to top it off we can hear the music from the conference room below. Plus all the drunk people stumbling along the corridor loudly.
I will never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Great facilities, clean and modern rooms, lovely pool and games room. Breakfast had a huge variety however the evening meal service was incredibly slow and the bedroom doors were incredibly heavy resulting in them banging loudly which was frustrating whilst trying to sleep.

Hotel and grounds were excellent, staff friendly and efficient. Excellent decor in the hotel.
Swimming pool can be extremely busy at weekends as it has members from the community.
Fridge in the bedrooms would be appreciated.
Lounge area is very welcoming.
Plenty of shops in Eastwood, surrounding area is good, retail park in Giltbrook is very good.
My 2nd stay at Eastwood Hall. Lovely grounds with ample parking. Everything is really very good. This an eco conscious hotel - try their flavoured water! The rooms are comfortable - both times my bathroom included a bath which I prefer. Food is very good with interesting, varied menus and delicious breakfasts - seems to be all cooked from scratch. There are also quite comprehensive details of allergies and calories. The staff are fabulous 🤩, smilingly friendly and always willing to assist. Makes for an enjoyable stay.
Breakfast had a very good choice and was well presented and well cooked. Dinner was good, reasonably priced and well cooked. Luckily we went when there were no conferences on and it was quietish but I suspect it could get very crowded when events are on as its a big hotel with large conference rooms. It has very nice grounds with plenty of tables to sit outside at. It has a nice indoor pool and facilities which are free (but we didnt use them). Plenty of free parking.

Pleasant staff, homely feel to the accomodation. Quirkiness of room layout (made a pleasant difference to usual standard hotel rooms). The pub is very popular, and does a good range of pub food. The old buildng in the Eastwood location has a bit of a historic feel being the birth place of D H Lawrence.
Lovely location with good car parking. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel common areas were spotless. Breakfast was good too, self service but could have as much as you wanted and was really good.
And I loved that I could open the window in our room and get some fresh air.
- clean bedroom
- welcome pack for dog with bowl and blanket
- good room service
- leisure facilities were good
- Sanda from reception particularly lovely and helpful at check in and with needs
- room out of the way great because of busy hotel so less noise meant a great sleep
The hotel is a standard sort of wedding or conference venue. The rooms are large enough, clean enough and comfy enough. The grounds are superb if you have time enough and its dry.
The restaurant serves good food, and the staff pleasant.
We got married here at Eastwood hall 2years ago, then stayed again for the evening to celebrate our anniversary. The dinner, staff and room was perfect. Swimming pool was great and breakfast was good too.
Breakfast very good with good choice except eggs scrambled eggs only and overcooked!!
Room very clean and bed comfortable
Overall the hotel was very clean and staff very good
