The view of Loch Ness from our room and from the restaurant was excellent.
The breakfast was excellent, and I really appreciate the veggie full Scottish option. Veggie haggis was a treat.
The staff were competent, friendly and welcoming.
The packed lunch they prepared was superb also.

The owner let us check in early. Even though we need met them, they left us a message that still had a way to make us feel welcome.
The room was clean and comfortable.

The apartment was perfect. It has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, with a gas cooker that I love, it was big enough and also gets warm very fast (it was very cold outside). The hosts very friendly and helpful. It has a private parking also. Only the bed is too small if you are a tall person :) Definitely would recommend this!

Hotel is very tired and facilities poor.
Hotel is very tired and facilities poor. Hairs in bath as well as shampoo/conditioner. Staff were not really customer focused and not available once they had shown us our room, which did not meet expectation.

Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense.
Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense. For a pretty part of the world it’s a bit scruffy. Very overpriced, Too popular, No bars so you’re ripped off in hotels for a simple drink.
Stay elsewhere if you have taste.

I would recommend just stopping for lunch in Drumnadrochit, the hotels are well overpriced and all cashing in on the monster theme. We were even charged £16,50 for a wine and a beer in one of the hotels down the road where we were thinking of going for dinner. A real rip off.

Free car park.
Free car park. Lots of facilities - supermarket, chip shop, cafes, petrol station. Gift shops, Church etc
Plus Loch Ness Exhibition Centre round the corner and pick up point for excellent 1 hour Loch Ness boat cruise.
Plus Urquhart Castle very near by.
Arrived after another day walking the Great Glen Way. The garden was beautiful and I loved being able to sit outside to have my coffee and read my book.
Unfortunately, there was no restaurant open due to covid but our host was well prepared for this and provided us with our options for dinner. We went for take away and she kindly set up and cleared table for us to eat.
The triple room was beautiful and spacious. You’d think you were in a nice hotel. Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was amazing.
The hotel was located centrally & was very quaint and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was excellent specifically manager Mike & Jamie . Both were very helpful. Our car broke down just as we checked out & they handed over our room keys back to us so we could use the room while the car got fixed. Jamie also dropped us to Urquhart Castle for our tour. They kept an eye out for the repairman to get our car done & let us know when they came. I could not have picked a better place for staying.
Isabelle and Robert, our hosts at the B&B, were wonderful. They helped us on a couple of things during our stay including accommodating us for an additional night. The property was excellent and the breakfasts that were cooked to order were delicious. The B&B is well positioned in the center of Scotland near Loch Ness making for easy access to the countryside in all directions. My wife and I would highly recommend Woodlands B&B to anyone traveling to Scotland.
The location was stunning, so close to Loch Ness, it was so peaceful and the lodge was clean, had everything you would want for a self catering holiday, Inverness was close with all the restaurants and take and culture you would hope for, we spend a day at Ben Nevis and we’re blown away with the beauty of the landscape of Scotland. Thank you Simon for meeting us at such a late hour due to a 14 hour trip
- A lovely hotel with really friendly, chatty staff.
- The rooms were lovely for the price you pay and the ensuite room has been recently renovated and looked brilliant.
- The beds were really comfy.
- The food in the restaurant and the breakfast was really nice.
- Overall a really good value hotel with lovely staff. I would definitely stay here again if im in the area.
It is a nice and calm place to stay and recharge in the nature. There are a lot of hiking trails around. It is close to both Drumnadrochit where you can visit Lochn Ness centre and some giftshops and restaurants, as well as Urquhart castle. The restaurant in the Loch Ness Inn was great and I loved the possibility to sit outside by the river in the backside of the hostel.
Excellent hotel with beautiful room with a good view of Loch Ness. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, as well as the nice room where we could play board games and drinks next to the fire place. Jaro was very helpful in meeting our needs and giving us good recommendations. Breakfast was also excellent. We really enjoyed our stay!
Stewart and his family are absolutely wonderful. The house is gorgeous and the room was spacious, comfy, and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. The location is great, feels very secluded and has a beautiful view, but not far from Loch Ness and towns. Probably the best B&B I’ve stayed in.
this is a really good location. It is easy to get a bus from Inverness that will stop right outside the hotel. One of the places to get on boat trips on Loch Ness is right next to the hotel. It's nice to be able to sit in the restaurant and look out over the Loch. I recommend this.
Location was within easy reach of local village, shops/pub and restaurant, close to Loch Ness Centre and a short drive to Urquhart Castle and waterfalls. Room was comfortable but cold, with TV, WiFi and kettle. Breakfast had a good choice of cooked or cereal/toast/croissants.
The location of Four Winds was perfect for us. It is situated in a lovely part of Drumnadrochit in a very quiet and peaceful road with a good view of the hills. Shops and restaurants are all very accessible within walking distance.
An exceptional hotel. Of a very high standard with every thought given to the guests comfort. Although there are no evening meals the reception booked us into a hotel restaurant a five minute walk away.
We had a fabulous stay in Loch Ness Inn. The room was nice and clean, well equipped and very warm despite freezing temperatures outside. There's also a restaurant downstairs serving delicious food.
I'm very content with my stay in this hotel.
Cosy room, very friendly staff (always willing to help) and great location with access to shops/pubs/ restaurants & public transportation.
Great accommodating host. Fantastic breakfast. Countryside location close to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Quaint courtyard and the best opportunity to find Nessie
