The property has some interesting history connected with the Royals. Won’t speak about it much but this is one of the oldest coaching inns in the country! The location is apt for a base if your tour is focused on Cotswolds. Don’t forget their breakfast.
A great tip: Every Tuesday, they have an amazing Farmer’s market bang opposite this property. A great experience!

Very traditional hotel with lots of charm. All of the staff were very polite, welcoming and professional. Free parking definitely a bonus. Choice for breakfast was fine and cooked very well. Nice to have the same table each day. Our room was in the adjoining Coach House alongside the busy main road, but we had no issues with traffic noise. The room was spacious with ensuite large bathroom, plenty of fresh soft towels and loads of drawer and wardrobe storage. Tea and coffee supplies in the room with premium brands. TV fairly modern so able to access catch up services. No issues with Wi Fi quality at all. Lovely cosy residents lounge with open log fire in the main hotel.
This boutique hotel is located alongside the A429, a minute’s drive from the charming market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. In the heart of the Cotswolds, it has free Wi-Fi and free parking.

We loved the old building and the cute smallish room in the attic. We had a gorgeous view over the town and the sun was shining in the room creating a wonderful light. The hotel is in the middle of the village and the restaurant is outstanding!
Kingham is a pretty village, you can take a short walk.
Kingham is a pretty village, you can take a short walk. A few doors down is the Wild Rabbit but the Kingham Plough serves great food. It’s only a ten minute taxi ride to several other eateries and Daylesford farm. 20-30 minutes from lots of other great places to visit.

We would be very happy to stay again. We would hope for better weather next time so we can see more of the village itself and explore the area.

In the early 1900's My Grandparents Tom and Leticia Goodway were married and lived in Kingham. 'The Plough ' was my Grandfathers local. It was in the Plough that my Father Goerge Cardew asked Tom Goodway for his daughter Ruby's hand in Marriage. I will always love Kingham. I hope to return in the Spring when I will plan to stay at 'The Plough' which is part of my family history. The staff are not local to Kingham but they carried with them the friendliness and the warmth of Kingham village during my short stay. I hope to book a Family meeting at the Plough in the near future

Very quiet and secluded location, ideal for relaxing break.
Very quiet and secluded location, ideal for relaxing break. Lodges very clean with all amenities although the wifi was very poor and I had to purchase data on my phone as couldn't connect. Hot tub lovely and clean although decking needs some attention to remove algae. Played golf at the club just 2 minutes away, lovely. Will be staying again.

The Wild Rabbit pub/restaurant is fantastic for breakfast - sadly we couldn't get in for dinner! Book early!
Daylesford is a must visit if you want fantastic organic food and a great range of household items
The Kingham Plough is a beautiful, chic pub, based in an equally pretty Cotswolds village.
The room was spacious, a lovely mix of contemporary and character, with all the facilities we needed and more. Lots of nice little touches - like the fresh milk delivered to your door for your in-room tea or coffee.
The staff were great - reserving a table in the restaurant for us even though we’d forgotten to do so, just in case (thank goodness, as they were otherwise fully booked). The food was delicious too!
The location was great in Kingham and the staff were incredibly friendly and polite. My partner and I arrived in the late afternoon after spending the day in Oxford. It took little time to get to the location and the Kingham Plough holds memories for us. To spend the evening celebrating our anniversary there was wonderful. The food was exceptional and the small touch of a celebratory dessert was lovely.
The Plough is in an excellent location in the beautiful village of Kingham surrounded by the natural beauty of the Cotswold. We travelled by train from Oxford which took half an hour and then another 25 minutes to walk into the village (taxis are also available). The Plough itself was excellent - very nice rooms, great food and drink, and extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely cottage is a very beautiful village. The cottage is very comfortable, the fire was set and ready to light. The Little Barn is a few minuets walk from the pub, but this actually makes it better because you get to walk through the village before dinner and breakfast. We highly recommend the Kingham Plough.
Food was fantastic - great produce and cookery. Comfy bed and big room with decent interior decor. Liked the fresh milk each morning. Staff were all lovely and exhibited great customer service skills. Room was quiet at night and Kingham is a lovely village.
Charming accurately describes the cottage and location in Kingham great for exploring Cotswolds. Foodies well catered for - Ate at both Wild Rabbit and Kingham Plough (forward planning required) along with visiting Daylesford Farm.
The location was ideal for where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do.
The only meal we had in the hotel was breakfast which was very nice and got us off to a good start for the day.
it’s location and its charm. fabulous cottage 👍👍👍 We thoroughly enjoyed the Kingham area and, in particular, Dayleford Organics and The Wild Rabbit pub 😎👍👍😂
