Fab place in a lovely location with a brilliant room and view. Staff were really friendly, breakfast was fresh and the meals we had in the Wild Brownie bar were lovely without a wait despite being quite busy. We just loved it!

The hotel was lovely, and the staff were incredible and really made the whole experience.
We arrived on the Friday when they have live music which was loud as we were above the bar, but the moment we checked in they told us exactly when this would end and it did. They did ask us if we needed it to end earlier to ask and its be switched off in a heart beat. The music was actually really great and we didn't feel any need to ask!
Again the staff were incredible and a credit to the hotel.

This 200-year-old former coaching inn is located in the main square of Aberfeldy, deep in Highland Perthshire. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas, and there is free parking on site.
The hosts were so accommodating and lovely. We had some car trouble and they went out of their way to assist. You will need to book restaurants in advance as there are only a few and they are often booked out. There is a cafe walking distance and one shop but come prepared by bringing your own food and snacks. There was a full kitchen with cutlery and crockery in our accommodation with a tv and a sleeper couch. The view alone is worth staying here

If staying in a self catering place make sure you go with supplies, the nearest big shop is 35 minutes away.
Kinloch Rannoch does have a Country store for your basic stuff but they close early on a Sunday.

Beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful.
Beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful. Staff very welcoming. Got breakfast is a bit expensive. Dinner in the estate room was fully booked so we had dinners in the Brownie room which had a very small menu but the food was delicious. Spa treatments were amazing and relaxing.

While the location of the hotel is great, the rooms are getting old and we were put in a tiny tiny room, crammed for 3 days. Pool and Spa are fun, however, lots of kids and it would have been better to do family hours/adult hours, as some people come to relax, while children scream and play.
The Estate restaurant had great Venison, but they were a bit stingy on bread, after we asked for a bit more.
I'd recommend staying at the new hotel just 2 miles down the road closer to town, as an alternative. We visited it and it looked pretty amazing with great food and prices.

The accommodation was good, but staff t was the staff that really made this stay enjoyable. They were friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their face. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. Plenty of places in the hotel to sit and relax with a wee refreshment and the games provided in the whisky bar a bonus to those looking to relax. Dog and family friendly and everyone well looked after. Will be back.

Absolutely lovely, Booking.com description very accurate.
Absolutely lovely, Booking.com description very accurate. wonderful location. Very friendly and helpful people. Would advise though, anyone wanting to visit specific things, Edinburgh Castle, Urquart Castle at Loch Ness and the Mary Kings Close in Edinburgh, should pre book as we could not access these which was disappointing. A lesson learned. The Park and Ride at Ingliston was perfect for accessing Edinburgh without the worry of parking.

The Rannoch Nest is a gorgeous apartment. It’s spacious and beautifully decorated and the bed was really comfy. it had absolutely everything you could possibly need-we’ve never stayed at a better stocked place! Jane was the perfect host- before the visit she took time to find out what we were interested in doing and sent some really useful links; there was also a generous Welcome Pack waiting for us. Kinloch Rannoch is a great base to explore the area and we’d love to return.
This was a last minute get away. Booked that afternoon and arrived to a lovely welcome. The hotel smells amazing! Very clean and the staircase was crying out for a photograph. The hotel should be proud of their very friendly and attentive staff. Thank you to Ryan for our evening meal service. Thank you to Denzel and especially Matt at breakfast. Freya at reception was very pleasant too.
Our room had a great view and was immaculately clean. Kinloch Rannoch is a hidden gem.
Lovely staff, super quiet and beautiful area. Comfy bed and spacious, clean room. It was my partners birthday and they left him little cakes and a Happy Birthday card which he really appreciated.
The hotel smells amazing! Not sure what they use but it really is lovely.
Lots of tea and coffee in room, shortbread too and nice toiletries.
Perfect spot for hillwalking and relaxing. Food was brilliant too.
Great value for money (for the room!)
Beautiful cottage in lovely Kinloch Rannoch. The house is extremely clean, very comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The contact from the caretaker was excellent, staff in the cafe next door extremely helpful and the card & biscuits on arrival very much appreciated. WiFi was superb, TV excellent and beds were very comfortable.
We more than enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer if we could.
The view was stunning the living room and kitchen area was very warm and cosy. Overall very clean and tidy throughout. Lots of steps kept me fit going to and from the apartment but you can't complain as the reward in terms of view greatly outweighs the effort required. The food was very nice in the hotel restaurant. I would definitely return.
The location right on Loch Rannoch was prefect! A bit off the beaten path, the hotel was very peaceful and nicely decorated. Since it was rainy during our stay, we didn’t get to enjoy water activities, but the gym was particularly nice. The food was exceptional for both dinner and breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
Spent 5 nights in Kinloch Rannoch. Fabulous location with good sized, well styled contemporary bedrooms. Traditional style lounge and bar area with open fire is great. Very few exceptional staff - Magdalene in the larder and lovely local girl from kinloch rannoch who is bar supervisor stood out and should be rewarded for their effort.
Although in the hotel itself having a small apartment gave a great feel to being in a home from home. After coming back from a long walk and being told that thee was no food the staff went the extra mile in making sure that we received a small choice and getting something to eat which was really welcomed.
Room was immaculate and beds and bedding very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Bar and restaurant were very good . Decor throughout the hotel was lovely and everywhere very clean. Ambience of the whole place was delightful.
Beautiful location for a relaxing stay. There's plenty to do at the hotel and a nice walk to the village and along the loch shore.
Food was brilliant and the service everywhere was amazing.
Situated on the loch, the views are stunning. Easy access. Parking onsite. Restaurant at the hotel if needed. Good local store (closed Sunday afternoon).
