Warm greeting at reception. We did not eat breakfast now dinner at the hotel but only because of our tight schedule. The dining room looked comfortable and nicely laid out though.

Full English breakfast for £5 amazing value! I found I had been upgraded to a double room when I arrived. The people there were so welcoming and friendly. I chose this place because they were close to a function I had to attend. Economical, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
This Marriott hotel is in a quiet setting just minutes from the M1.

Sketchley Grange Hotel is an elegant country house hotel, ideally located on the borders of East and West Midlands in the town of Hinckley, 2 minutes' drive from the M69.
This hotel should be condemned!
We had no curtains, sheets on bed did not fit, drawers falling apart, sink dirty with old soap and toothpaste splatters on tap, no toilet roll, our friends room had sink full of dirty water and full of dead flies, the only way not of the hotel is down stairwell, no access or help for anyone unsteady on there legs or disabled. Dining room looked like a dumping ground for staff clothing. No organisation over where keys were, or even if the key worked in the door. Budget hotel but really even those standards were very very low. How booking.com can show photos taken is beyond, just look on trip advisor !!!

Beautiful countryside walks.
Beautiful countryside walks. Stones Cove scuba diving just a stone throw away. Dinner at the hotel was exceptional, especially the fillet steak…
I would like to stay again in the Field View cottage which has a hot tub too. I would also like to hire the whole place for a private family party.

Very small village which is quite run down.
Very small village which is quite run down. However it is ideally placed for Stoney Cove Scuba diving facility.
Not much options for food unless you like takeaway or Indian.
Hinckley town 10 mins away has lots of food and entertainment options.
The hotel is small and cosy. The room was at the front but the window was open overnight with little noise from traffic. Bathroom was large and although not a recent installation was very clean and lashings of hot water after my swim! There are also nice toiletries provided.
The outdoor pool was very warm, with an outdoor cubicle to change in. This was used morning and evening. I had an evening meal and found the menu very interesting with many small options which makes a change. The food I had was very tasty.
..The family that ran the hotel were exceptional and so ready to please, what an experience......
All the other guests were great fun and made our stay a party atmosphere, what a laugh we had.
All credit to Emma and husband and 2 sons...so helpful and willing to help
Thankyou

2nd visit this year. Lovely family run hotel, food was great, very clean, staff are lovely. very attentive and helpful. Plenty of parking. My mum who is elderly found her room quite cold as the heating was off but other than that everything was great.
My stay was very good.
The management at the hotel accomodated me very well. Room was very clean and tidy.
The Indian restaurent was amazing and would recommend anyone staying to try the food.
Overall would definitely come back and stay again.
Couldn’t get through to the hotel, 3 times I tried customer service was no help, number for hotel doesn’t work. Left AirPods was trying to ring to get them to put to the side to collect, no help, AirPods gone. Shocking.
