Augusta's Georgiana Molloy Motel, hotel in Augusta

Located in the heart of Augusta, this motel offers spacious self-contained units with full kitchen facilities and in-house movies.

I booked a room on Booking.com, paid and confirmed. Then I called the motel in 8:00 PM, not too late considering this is a accommodation business. But the man who answered the phone was very rude. We arrived the second day. There was a lady checking in so I waited until she left. I said hello to the old man who was sitting behind the counter. then showed my phone screen to him with all the booking information. he didn't say anything, didn't say welcome to me. even didn't head up to look at me. He continue work on his computer, and endlessly cough, without covering his smelly mouth, and directly to my face! drink water, and yell to his wife in a rude way. I said "excuse me" to get his attention and this get him angry! he warning me to respect him. I got made. I said:" I booked online, now I am your customer waiting here for checking in. you even didn't say welcome to me! did you respect me? you are running an accommodation business and now you are serving me, how can you treat me in this way?" he replied:" you booked and paid on booking, not me. so you are not my customer, please get out of my property! otherwise I will call police to get you removed". I said: " you even didn't look on the booking information that I showed to you! I paid, and someone confirmed. Therefore that is a deal! please give me the fucking keys!" He refuse to read the booking information, and refuse to give me key. just repeatedly said that I booked online and not paid to him, please get out! Then his wife came, surprisingly, His stupid wife get the situation even worse. She blame me that why i came for holiday with angry? I need to respect her husband! I said I am not your slave! I am your customer! I waited in front of the counter for 10 minutes, and he even didn't say hello to me. and don't read the booking information that I provided!

Waterside View, hotel in Augusta

Featuring a garden, Waterside View offers accommodations in Augusta. With free private parking, the property is 5.5 miles from Jewel Cave and 31 miles from Margaret River Golf Club.

The location was amazing, couldn't have been better. Spectacular views, walking distance to the river and a quick walk and even quicker drive to town. Sitting on the balcony early morning looking at the sun rise over the river was beautiful and the calming waters in the later afternoons set the mood. Then finish the day off sipping on a warming soothing glass of port in front of the wood fire. I'd highly recommend Waterside to anyone looking for a relaxed and comfortable break.

Augusta is a gem - we feel that MR has become so over populated and busy that its the simple quite feel of Augusta that gets us back each time. So much to see and do - truly from beaches to lighthouse the Blackwood River offering Brim, squid crabs! The quaint little restaurants, thrift shops and option of Markets seasonally. Everyone knows everyone and the Pub is just so iconic. Having the local IGA helps. Being able to walk along the well made riverbed - the jetty is wonderful and a buzz on a good evening. The Golf Club is not over done - run by amazing women and the option of another smaller Par 3 for those not wanting to do the big walk. The bowls - The Paintng classes you can take on the corner store - stores seem to remember you from prior trips my goodness we love it - so much we have purchased in Kudardup

such a beautiful place to visit.

such a beautiful place to visit. Houseboat holidays was wonderful. Augusta hotel was wonderful. A meal at the pub is always good. A trip to the lighthouse for a tour is always interesting and a trip to the museum is very informative. Some wonderful shops to search through and a lovely couple of cafe’s to have coffee and lunch. Dont miss a trip to the bakery for an awesome pie.

Loved the pub down the road, sat outside one evening with a glass of wine overlooking the river and the beach, very friendly staff and fantastic weather. Also enjoyed the homemade burgers we got from the butchers which we cooked in the kitchen of our accomodation. Shops in main street were great selling interesting and unusual items at generally reasonable prices.

    What an amazing location!

What an amazing location! We stayed here because we wanted to visit Margaret River in WA, but that region is very expensive. Augusta is only a half hour drive south of Margaret River but sooooo much cheaper. It also turned out to be the better location. You can't beat Cape Leeuwin at sunset, the South-West tip of mainland Australia where the Southern and Indian oceans meet. The location of Augusta also opened up destinations along the south coast of Western Australia which wouldn't have otherwise been known to us. Next time we visit the region, the town of Augusta will be our first choice for accommodation again.

Power outages were an issue. We were going to go to the Pub for dinner but it was closed due to the outage. We were surprised as the outage was finished by 3:30 pm. The pizza truck made great pizzas.

Don’t listen to the haters. This hotel deco is retro, not “outdated”. My bedside table/clock/radio/alarm/control panel was a work of art. I was having full-blown nostalgia in the shower, as the tap and drain fittings brought me back to my childhood. And I hardly noticed the smell at all! In all seriousness, this accommodation was exactly what I expected based on the photos and price.

Spacious common areas. Great beds. Good showers (we were the only ones using the common showers when we were there). Free tea and coffee in the kitchen. Located just off the main street in Augusta, so easy to get to even with the bus. Great kitchen. Early check in was no problem since everything was ready already.
